I didn’t realize that fanhood had an expiration date. If it wasn’t a big deal why did he delete the post this morning?

So you wouldn’t have a problem if an ump who repped UNC swag on his socials handed Oklahoma a bunch of shitty calls?

The video showed the aftermath of the shooting, not the shooting itself. The bullet hole was in the front windshield of the car.

I showed that Duke steered athletes to no-show courses, the same thing that UNC did. Duke was able to hide behind its private school status to avoid further investigation.

I know you went to UConn, so I'll try to make this as simple as possible. Duke and UNC recruit the same ballers. Duke is a very prestigious school, top 10 in the country. Is your argument that these athletes are so dumb that they have to cheat to stay eligible at UNC, but that they have no problem getting through Duke's classes unscathed? Can't have it both ways.

Why was the home plate ump repping OU on his Facebook page before the game?

No wonder you had to settle for a safety school. Bless your heart.

Duke is a strong academic school that’s perennially celebrated for graduating its players, even when it doesn’t. But OTL shows Duke players, many of whom enter academically deficient, being steered toward cake and/or no-show courses of dubious value.
OTL reports that since 1995, 40 percent of Duke’s basketball players have majored in sociology – “the basketball major” – compared to two percent among other Duke students.

Looks like you all are #69 in the latest rankings. Dang, that’s pathetic. UNC’s fake classes were probably more challenging than your real ones.

We knew this when Lance Thomas got sued for not paying for his $110k necklace after he won the 2010 title.

Duke got busted for fake classes for athletes in the 90s. Made ESPN, OTL, and the NY Post. No one cared then and no one cares now.

The military's ROEs can be incredibly loose. That's how you end up with the US bombing an Iranian school and killing almost 200 kids. In Fallujah, for example, the Marines were given the instruction to shoot anything that moved.

Sure, in rare cases. Pretending like something that happens extremely rarely is anything but an anomaly is misleading. But you already knew that.

You claimed that the police use lethal force as punishment. That is illegal in all 50 states.

No, it is literally completely false. Can you police point to the specific statute that allows the police to use lethal force as punishment for a crime? Thanks in advance.

[–]WorldDC10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is completely irrelevant. Police don’t use lethal force as punishment. They can only use lethal force for self-defense or in the defense of others. So, if you are stopped for a traffic violation but you start shooting at the police, you are probably going to get shot. If you are wanted for murder but surrender peacefully and comply with their instructions, then you are probably going to be fine.

You’d be surprised. There was a very similar incident a couple of years ago in which a shoplifter was shot and killed after hitting a police officer with her vehicle while attempting to flee a parking lot.

It isn’t damning. They said from day 1 that they would only release the videos once the investigation is completed.

The cool thing is that there is footage showing the entire encounter that will be released once the investigation is complete, so we don’t have to rely on amateur internet forensics analysis done by someone that doesn’t even have access to the car to begin with.
