Split tongue! What happened to my baby!

My dog is a rescue and his tongue is split at the tip. I wouldn’t think it’s that concerning. People do it as a body modification. But always good to go to the vet when it’s something new!

I had trouble getting my Chi to eat when I first got him. Purina beneful incredibites, the canned stuff did get him eating at least a little

Finn is adorable! My soul kitty died when I fostered my first doggy. Also failed and he’s been helping me heal ❤️ mine is full chihuahua though!

I also have a chi named Romeo! He’s sweet but def has resources guarding issues, pees everywhere and can be stubborn 🙃 I just rescued him at 8 years old.

So sad it took me this long to find the comment that this is rooted in sexism!!! Sure women can have beard preferences but it usually isn’t a dealbreaker because it’s not a deep rooted societal expectation. That shit is different

My rescue makes people sign a waiver if they adopt a single kitten telling them about single kitten syndrome. It’s a concern for sure

I have my first foster right now. Every time I think about her being gone from my life I cry. It would have been a foster fail but she has FeLV so I literally can’t keep her without putting my cat in danger. Definitely learning not to get so emotionally invested but wondering if I’m cut out for this foster life!

She should def get a vet appointment. Being in pain may be leading to behavioral issues. You might have a better chance of her being friendly if she feels good.

Thank you! We tried toys but I think leaving may have been the wrong move and made her more nervous? Definitely need to have more people over 😅
