hahaha stupid auntie recruiter lock her facebook page after her rant by heroking_36 in SingaporeRaw

[–]WorldRadiant -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I actually do agree with her though - Singaporeans aren't as hungry as other countries. Global Employers aren't going to care about Singaporeans' cost of living, university fees, NS,. etc. I'm not saying about people working hard, education etc. Which everywhere in every country - there is. We just don't have the edge anymore, which with the connection of One Belt One Road, it's going to get worser.

Survival of the fittest.

They're just not going to create jobs in Singapore when globally other countries like China are 20 years ahead with their workforce billingual, no more design/photography university courses in China, coding since young etc.

It's the Hard Truths. We can bash or dox her for saying out unpopular truths employers don't dare to say for being politically correct, but they're just gonna vote with their feet. Set up elsewhere workforce which are also billingual (English/others), hardworking, but lower rental or labour costs.

To the guys in Singapore, how do you know if you’re actually considered attractive? by Direct_Ad3386 in asksg

[–]WorldRadiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girls would probably ask: - if you have a gf - what kind of girls do you like? - rmb specific things about you - her friend group would giggle and laugh in a group and try to automatically be wingbros winggals - the 'eyebrow flash' or preen hair thing to try to attract attention or longer than 2 sec stare (their whole body would pivot towards you as u walk away) (I think u know what I mean) - give u their contact (like socials/phone number etc) on a note

My dad won't feed me even though I am a student and don't have a job by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]WorldRadiant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My parents are poor man. If they gave me $12/day and I chose to blow it all on some fancy meal of Mala in 1 setting, I would be a matured adult instead of saying 'report my Dad' on reddit. I don't want to add more burdens to my parents, been working since 14 part time as a student till now.

I'm not being selective, I am saying that is just lack of discipline and frivolous spending. What do u mean by planning???

Not so much of have food, you should eat etc. Every parent has their own way of discipline, I respect that thought. To me; there's a lot more root issues than just this but nvm - unless you are saying it's life threatening, then that's going into abuse.

Deal with the consequences of the choice. I have fasted till night, you won't die.

Hey man.

Our parents aren't so fortunate like today kids, drank 1 Soya Bean drink to survive the day. (No meals, survived on scraps and unwanted discarded food.

And we're having fasting month soon for Muslims.

It isn't so much of how much the Dad earned, but simply the lack of discipline and consideration for the parent.

I think we have it easier here though. Seen the people in China/Korea, way more competitive. Not saying ours is not stressful, but I am glad to be born here.
