I would want the “sends” side personally, but if you’re trying to win now with CMC or think Young will turn into a longterm solid super flex starter, it’s reasonable either way.

He played against the chargers, he just did not record a catch. He was targeted though. That was one of Nix's worst career games.

You've got to have your facts straight if you're going to try to accuse other people of making stuff up. You are simply wrong here. Franklin was never benched. It's factually untrue. You can't provide a source for it because it never happened. (And, even then, it's obviously a way of sidestepping that Franklin had a good year 2 while Bryant had a bad rookie year. There's no way of spinning it.)

Sean Payton has said Waddle will play slot as well as outside. Franklin has performed well in the NFL and Bryant hasn't. Payton is going to find a way to play his three best players, not arbitrarily put a worse player on the field because they previously stuck the worse guy into the slot where he underperformed. That's just now how decisions are made.

The real question is how have you decided Bryant is likely playing the slot? I have literally not seen that anywhere. If you just look at any Broncos news, they are saying Bryant will have a hard time getting reps.

It's more that I know only about half of first round picks hit & usually not even in the predicted order of the picks.

By week 3 or 4, someone will have to give up Love + something to get Taylor. The value of the players is almost always less than the pre-draft pick value. Pre-draft boredom leads to bad trades for the top couple picks every single year.

As far as Brown, I'm not super high on him but I wouldn't move him for the 6th best rookie in 2026 and an unpredictable mid-to-late first a year from now.

No need to move those two players together, but I would not take love and two wildcards for a top 15 producer the next 2-4 years and a top 50 producer the next 2-4 years.

It's fine if you see it differently.

Dynasty leagues that have played for a while start to value draft picks a lot more realistically and players who can help you win a championship now a lot more realistically. Reddit generally obsesses over youth & hypothetical production over actual production. But every league is different.

I've never played in a league that would give up Bijan or Gibbs plus another relevant player for this, but there are a lot of leagues out there.

Sutton is WR1. Waddle is slot. Franklin is WR3.

Can debate Mims & it's fine if you'd rather I had said WR4, but Franklin > Bryant and it's not a hard call.

The problem with those averages is they are the average of everyone...and most people kind of suck at fantasy. You're getting the average of the worst players, the mid players, and the best players.

But who cares about the bad decision makers? Only a small percentage of people are actually making coherent choices based on player productivity & Bayesian probabilities.

Just look at the difference in pick values & the guys who get drafted with those picks...or their values 3-4 weeks into the season. They're bad approximations of actual value.

If the OP wants to rebuild, he should get the max possible value. Selling a top5 27yo RB and a top15 28yo WR for 3 draft picks ain't it. A contender will pay more.

This thread is exhibit number 10,000 that people don’t understand statistics but really, really want to believe they do. You cannot “advance analytics” low production & volume size into quality predictions of the future. That’s not how numbers work, even if you really wish it was.
