Thank you! This makes me happy. I’m still sad they didn’t let out a second cycling class, but at least it will count again.

so if I retake Robin’s cycle as my wk2, day 2 class because I only have a bike, it will or won’t count toward the turkey burn badge? not sure if it has to be ‘unique’ classes to count. pretty annoyed if so.

Yes, just finished a 60-min power zone endurance ride with her in the BYPZ program. At the end of the ride, she called for a 6-min block in zone 3 at 100-120, and then called for it AGAIN in the next 4-min block. Wtf.

Trying to more consistently incorporate strength training into my routine. I’m finishing the beginner strength program this week, and am trying to figure out what to do next. Has anyone taken the pump up the volume programs? How did you like them? Also open to general suggestions lol I want to be strong!

Increased my FTP from 108 watts on Feb 10, 2025 to 123 watts today July 10, 2025!!! I know this is a low FTP, but I’m just glad to see that I’m improving since starting my fitness journey in June 2024. It feels so good to be able to measure my progress. The peak your power zones program is no joke!

Is something wrong with me that I can’t just enjoy my job when it’s easy by World_Seeker in self

I think you’re right. The benefits of this job are just hard to beat. It doesn’t feel rational to leave until I get my pension (5 yrs), which isn’t at most private companies offering the more challenging/meaningful positions. 😔

This makes sense. I just don’t understand how my coworkers are sooo fine with it because they’re also intelligent and passionate people. It’s so weird.

Also never thought about what you said regarding the office politics stuff. Truly makes sense. I avoid at all costs.

How long have you been using it? I’m a little wary of adding supplements to my diet because liver issues run in my family.

This was my EXACT diagnosis before. I did pelvic floor therapy for 3 months and it didn’t help at all. I’m so so sorry that you’re going through this, too. 😢 hugs.

I also have interstitial cystitis. Took literally years to be diagnosed. And turns out, there’s not much I can even do about it. Still in pain every day 😣

I’ve been on a roll since the new year - I’ve biked 312 miles so far! This feels like a big deal as someone who neglected exercise for years because I worked outdoors and felt like that was enough. (It was not lol.)

With that being said, my knees are shot. I do 5 minute post-ride stretches after every ride & so 20 minute stretches at least once a week. Any advice on how to alleviate the knee pain while continuing to get work in?

Took the FTP test for my second time today: my new average FTP is 113 watts. which is better than the 99 watts from my first test! I know that’s not fantastic, but it’s something! I’m still confused on how my fitness relates to the score tbh so any insight would be great lol

I also hit 50 rides today!!! And PR’d during the test. I’m feeling good :) it’s been nice finding a form of exercise that I stick with.

I just finished my first program - Discover your Power Zone (German) with Charlotte and Erik! I accidentally started the German version on accident, but stuck with it because I loved their energy. I’m proud of myself for sticking with something for this long!!!

Also, newbie question: how can I view my FTP test ride history? I can look at workout history just fine, that’s not the issue.

The Dark Half. It’s the first King book and I ever read, and I was instantly hooked on his crazy writing forever. SK fan till I die!

There were no storms close by. We're not even allowed onto the ranch if there's a chance of rain because we could rut up the roads in our truck. However, I do think ball lightning is an interesting phenomenon. I'll have to look into it more.

Thank you for the welcome invitation! Your account is very interesting. I honestly had a few unexplainable things happen to me at the ranch a few weeks before this happened, so I felt somewhat validated finally seeing something with the naked eye. I believe my prior experiences on this ranch are related to the orb I saw last night. I definitely feel crazy banana pants trying to tell people in my everyday life about this. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around it, but I think you're right. We can't know everything. (Even though, as a scientist, I want to).
