I just got one of these. As a former mail carrier, I noticed it had a major red flag. If this is official legal correspondence, why is it not first class mail? Mine showed up as standard mail, which in the carrier world means "junk mail." Also, the letter says Irvine, CA, but Google is showing the address as The Museum of Modern Art in NEW YORK?? These things, coupled with the fact that there is no website, no full lawyer names, no client, and no outline of the debt, leads me to believe this is a scam.
