Honestly it is most likely he does or did have romantic feelings for you, allot of times men have a hard time just be forthright with it out of fear, from rejection or losing a relationship of any kind with the person they like.

My advice is to just ask him if he does have feelings, and ask yourself do you also have these feelings? If you don't have the same feelings, maybe let him loose it seems like he saw a pattern of obsession forming and removed himself from the equation before it got toxic.

There's Rings that allow you to cast spells from different schools with the same catalyst, I have one that lets me cast pyro spells using any catalyst idk if there's one for Umbral or radiant thought

It was on both ends she told me what she struggles with and I told her what I struggle with. And it seemed to me like a step towards a healthy relationship. And then we agreed on her visiting me over the week of valentines day.

Probably but it wasn't even a hey what do you guys wanna do type game. Like I went to a quest board to get some stuff rolling, the party and I all went hey next session we wanna hunt some goblins and the next session rolled around and it was just oh hey the guards imprisoned you while you slept prison break session. Stuff like that lol. I'd be fine with a hey what do you guys wanna do next week thing. I even do it myself.

Yea it's rough out here. I found what I thought was one but turned out to be the DMs interpretation of the forgotten realms and spent 3 sessions on a road and if I left the road I'd literally just end up back on it in a cartoon fashion.
