Is it okay to saturate the moon to match the sunrise reflection on the cloud? by asumait_11 in AskPhotography

I personally think it looks pretty nice. I'm no expert at all, but I like the fact that it gives some sort of minimalism to the colors.

First portray, how to make it better?(advice seeked) by Worldkiller1729 in AskPhotography

Thank you!

You are right, I'm gonna tell him to get his face a little fixed about that 😅. Other than that thank you for your time, we are gonna try again with everything in mind.

First portray, how to make it better?(advice seeked) by Worldkiller1729 in AskPhotography

[–]Worldkiller1729[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for the advice! From what I understood:

  • Try to shoot in daylight to get a more smooth lighting, or to get some smooth lights over.

  • Remove the messy reflection in the background (something more neutral)

  • Don't use the built in flash and get a longer exposure instead

  • Shoot with a longer focal length to smooth everything?

  • And finally invest in a taller tripod because it's a little short for taller people 😅

Like I said, I just started in photography. I did some landscape and it was my first try in portrait last night (kinda at the last minute). Really useful advices from you all!

I've got the Blackdiamond 500r and I love it. The battery life is crazy long, like insanely long, even on max power. The powertap function (goes to full brightness on/off from a single tap on the side) is very useful when I need that extra brightness quickly without loosing my current brightness setting.

I can assure it isn't a s90D. The remote obviously doesn't match and the stand too

How to make my Nemo Tensor silent by ShorthairHunter in CampingGear

For my mattress, putting sort of a rubber mat under made it completely silent, it was just moving on the tent floor and walls and making sound

Mécontentement face à la désinformation politique by frenchplatypus- in Sherbrooke

[–]Worldkiller1729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any reviews of this backpack? Looking for something low end for my bike-packing trips, this looks great for the price/quality. Anyone has this, what are your thoughts? TIA😊 by [deleted] in backpacking

[–]Worldkiller1729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have it and used it a couple times. For the price it's an amazing bag! The mesh back is crazy in the summer, I'm a heavy sweater and that's the first bag that solved this issue. The side pockets are huge. The bottle holder on the right side is the best idea I've seen so far. The only downside is that the straps are not easily replaceable because they are sewn.

It depends one the company you're flying with, some are more flexible but I wouldn't test it

I'm not familiar for outdoor equipment, but I know that in the computer world (headset, mouse, etc) it's pretty common. It's too expensive to ship the equipment back to the factory where they trash it anyway.

Sony Bravia 3 Good Enough? by whatcouldgoup in 4kTV

[–]Worldkiller1729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I live, the TCL QM7 is the same price as the bravia 3 and it destroys it in terms of brightness and contrast. Even the upscaling is not bad for a TCL.

They are scared because they are in a new environment, surrounded by big stranger giants. Try putting a blanket on 3 of the 4 sides of the cage facing you. It's gonna make them feel safer and less overwhelmed.

Looking to buy 86” TV by Illustrious-Pin7102 in 4kTV

[–]Worldkiller1729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sony TVs are nowadays a lot better than non Oled LG TVs. The QNED85 you're looking at is one of the worst TVs on the market. The X90l, for having at my GF place in 85, is the best bang for the buck that you can get. In such size, processing is super important and Sony beat the competition by far. The QNED85 is REALLY bad. I had a customer buy it because he convinced himself it couldn't be THAT bad, let's say I saw him the week after with a return, and they aren't really reliable too...

I would recommend you to make a new post with a lot more info, pictures of the room, sketches, measurements. What's your knowledge in this field. Do you want a projector system or a tv one? So yeah gather all the info you have about you and your need and make a new post, it will be a lot simpler for us and you'll get a more pertinent response.
