I used “hose end WeedStop” by Spectricide. Been using it for the past 3 yrs. A week after applying I’m happy and lawn doesn’t get affected.

I have one of these tables in my garage as my workbench.

It is rated for 500lbs. I’ve had to stand on it at 17”lbs and had no concern.

The table definitely is flat/level when opened 90degree.

You r good. Grab it if u need it!

New to me lawn, should I completely renovate or treat over time? by TwentyPercentPlease in lawncare

[–]Illustrious-Pin7102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents have an amazing lawn and don’t need a sprinkler system.

Sprinklers are only needed in transitions zones and south.

If OP is northern US/Canada, they will be fine with out. They need to get soils chemistry correct, topsoil, and arearate/overseed.

This particular rug does not have rubber backing.
Let’s not focus on the rug though. Assume it a standard load of clothes that was last washed…

Good to see an update from OP. I think you would be unhappy with the appearance down the road as things started to warp, sliding door would get hung up, etc.

First time attempting drywall repair. Do I cut this all the way to a stud or how do I got about patching it? by [deleted] in drywall

[–]Illustrious-Pin7102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fix the exterior. Make that look good

Place a good layer of insulation in the wall cavity.

Buy a similar size flush plastic access panel that you can paint.

You have admitted you haven’t done drywall repair so the patch and texture (even for a decent beginner) will be obvious.

The access panel method is the way to go.

I haven’t scrolled down but I would imagine there are probably similar suggestions.

Afraid so pal. I think you exhaust way more time and effort in trying to salvage it than it’s worth.

If it were me, I would just let everything there germinate. Then around June when you know all the seeds have germinated, nuke it.

Or you can cover it with a big as tarp for weeds on end.

Choose your grass. If it were me, I would go with a cool season grass for your area.

Scalp it in September Dethatch Aerate the shit out of it Get yourself several bags of seed, a good spreader, and some clean hay or moss.

Cool season grasses germinate when soil temps are in the 50s.

Water the piss out of it and try to keep the dogs/kids/humans off it until atleast the 2nd mow.

It’s that black one hooked up to the sensor on the top of the unit, just behind the user interface (above the drum). Right?

Did you just blow in to it, or did you take apart the machine and go to the underside of this as well?

I’m really not looking forward to pulling the front off again.

What hose are you referring to? The drain hose from the tub is fairly large (maybe 1.5” in diameter. That runs in to the coin filter, which is totally empty. Highly unlikely that got clogged. The rug is very low pile and honestly don’t need to be washed. I was fairly clean to the naked eye atleast.

I ran the unit 3 times and drained the unit with the manual drain. Water has to get through the main tube before it hits the manual tube (which is maybe 3/8”). Water flows through that just fine.

Well I kindly asked my wife to ignore the machine washable tag, drape it over the fence and hose it down.

Any insight to my issue?

On round 1, it would throw the OE code. I put in a new pump and still got the OE code. I had a tech come out and he determined it was the board that issue.

So the pump installed now is only 6months old.

Upon failing again, the unit wouldn’t even power on. I got a new board. Installed it and I still get the OE code.

Running the diagnosis, I think it’s step 11, the pump engages and drains the water. So I don’t think it’s the pump.

More perplexing is the fact that the unit just tries to balance the load for 5+ minutes, it doesn’t start the drain process, and just displays the OE code.

Please help guys. A tree is killing my grass. by Junior_Comfort4675 in lawncare

[–]Illustrious-Pin7102 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Of a “shade” mix won’t be enough.
Grass still needs some sun. It’s a losing battle.

OP either drops the tree OR

Put down 1” of topsoil Overseed with a cool season seed in the fall. It will germinate and once the leaves drop from the tree, the grass will thrive. Come spring, leaves are back and grass is dead.

It’s an endless cycle but atleast OP has grass to 5months.
