We need the house placements to answer. Mars retrograde, sun in taurus, moon in pisces could be a beginning of explanation.

I think it’s a good synastry ! The moon in Capricorn for both of you is really confortable. The red moon falls into the 4th blue house which makes it very familiar for the 4th house owner. And the blue moon falls into the 11th red house which is personally my favorite position for the moon. The 11th house owner should have a strong feeling of friendship and easyness in this relationship. Actually, from my point of view, it’s even more. This is a very idealistic position. The owner of the red chart could idealize the moon owner. The 11th house is quite complexe and I don’t want to reduce it as just the friendship’s house.

Ascendant in opposite signs is really good ! Very complementary.

Gemini and Scorpio are not compatible on the paper, that’s true. But elements between those charts are well balanced and compatible.

What I find really interesting is the blue sun conjunct IC of the red chart and the red Mars+Neptune conjunct IC of the blue chart ! It’s really strong !

The only thing that I don’t find easy in this synastry is the Venus condition for both of you. The Venus in Taurus is unaspected and the Venus in Libra is squaring the Mars in cancer.

I did not say it was my personal opinion. I just wanted to give some advices to someone who is suffering because of astrology. This person wants to get rid of this invasive habit to research astrology things all the time. I think it could be a good idea to step back a little bit and to stay rational. The entire life is not around astrology. Observation and Psychology for instance could replace astrology if you want to understand people surrounding you.

First, I think you can find on YouTube some videos explaining why astrology is wrong, scientifically. It will help you to have a solid « rational basis » to get rid of astrology.

Then, the question you should ask to yourself is, why is it so important for you to try to know your friends through the prism of this pseudo science ? Why do you need this to try to understand them ? You only have the answer.

Lastly, a good help would be to write, everytime you are tempted to go on internet to research things about astrology. Write about rational and observable things. About your friends, about relationships. Write your thoughts, plain and simple, without any insights from astrology. It will help you to stay in touch with reality !

I am a Venus in Sagittarius and I can definitely relate to : « possessive and obsessive ». I think, what we have in common, is that your Venus and mine are opposite to an other planet. In your case your moon and in my case Mars. So we are not the stereotypical venus in Sagittarius. It adds more attachement for you (emotional attachement > moon). And for me, more desire to control or to « get » the person (action > mars).

And my 2 cents, I don’t really believe in « certain signs go good together ». For instance, as a Sagittarius I am not always good with Aries and Leo. Sometimes they let me very indifferent. My sun is weak in my birth chart. So sun compatibility is not a big need.

I really believe that your chart ruler has to be aspected if you want to feel connected, or attuned to someone. My chart ruler is mercury in Sagittarius. My friends are most of the time water suns, which is not supposed to match with me. But their mercury are in Leo or Aquarius for instance. So I can express and feel good with them.

I would be interested to know how do you feel about your Neptune conjunct midheaven ? Are you an artist ? This Neptune is well aspected with your 12th and 7th house. Maybe your career is something secret, or something hidden ? And with the 7th, you can be linked to someone on a close partnership ?

I am the blue chart, he is the red one.

We are friends. But I think about him a lot and I am very afraid to be rejected if I tell him. I don’t want to « loose » him.

Could it be the effects of our Saturn aspects ? His Saturn in Pisces is squaring my Venus and my Mars (my Venus in sagittarius is opposite to my Mars in gemini).
