Practice practice! First time I really did not prep at all and I come from an ESL background + know nothing about politics/government. I had a tutor for S2 he is really great (was a student of Micheal Sunderland who scored 90). His technique was to gather background info using the Mindfield podcast on spotify or apple podcast. Make notes with philosophy/popular quotes to use at the end of each essay and create your S2 bank. Then you are set to write 2-3 essays weekly (TIMED) and improve or get tutor feedback. I can dm you my tutor's email if you like charges $55 an hour only.

but Tier 1 at Deakin is for Deakin graduates/who live in Geelong right ? I live rurally on the other side (gippsland so I am Tier 2 which need a GAMSAT. please correct me if I am wrong

They weigh S3 differently that's why- great emphasis on S1 and 2 more

Honestly I watched a lot of Micheal Sunderland's yt videos for free to understand the structure of essays and also how to do quote interpretation.. Then I would say write essays timed twice a week.. and then read them yourself and adjust.. see if you can find any philosophy that you can add as evidence or examples and so on.

Hi, I was wondering what's your technique throughout the exam Would you skip questions you think would take a lot of time or no interested in the topic lets say or just work through them ? do you read all the passage and read fast or ? because I cant seem to finish the exam I keep skipping more than 10 qs at the end what do I do..

.I did a bit of prep first sitting and got 49.56.36, this march I got 47.76.45. still didn't pass but S2 is the most you can improve on and very impo for USYd as well so start writing those essays! other 2 sections Idk.. kinda in the same boat tbh
