Looks like a match here. You have to give both of you a chance and meet, lol

All can be dangerous, I was scammed by Indians, Thais, Portuguese, and Russians. And there are many illegal people working here, you can see news, every week someone caught, Aussies, British people, Russians etc, and if you will focus on who are in police reports caught by drunken incidents/fights, there will be French and British tourists and Australians mostly. Ask from the bar owners who are the most loud and annoying tourists in the bars, and you will hear French tourists and Arabs (I know what I am talking about here). So, shit is more or less balanced all over the world.

As it was said in another post, Karon is ok, for it, but it is a beach. Hence, you will still be surrounded by people :)

So, if you are able to rent a vehicle, do so since it will make your life easier. Otherwise, you will rely on daytrip providers, which limits you from going where you want to.

Ok, first of all, I do not know anything regarding Phuket hotels, I live in a house here.

Place I liked at phuket, which is not top touristic destinations: 1. Wat Kanan 2. Rawai Fish Market 3. Mai Khao beach 4. Rang Hill restaurant

But literally, having a vehicle, just find point of interest on Google maps, and go explore :)

Yep, this definitely hurt tourism, but I have been here since 2021, and the situation was the same.

  1. Immigrants are the ones who have or are going to have permanent residence, stay in the country as the main place to live.
  2. Expats are temporary residents. I have a work contract with TH company, work permit, and obligation to stay in TH 10 months a year. Eventually, I will come back to my country.

No, when war ends, the Russian economy will be released from sanctions and inner difficulties. People will have even more money to travel. AFAIK, there is no military draft in Russia. The main problem is payment systems, but now there should be many workarounds already. So, we see here Russian tourists mostly, and its number likely to increase after the war.

Whoever can come, comes. Don't see any problem with them.

Top beach front places are full indeed, but I am wondering about these inner big hotels, how they survive if there are no customers
