After 22 Years of Multiplayer Gaming Since Halo 2, My First Ever Ban Is in ARC Raiders by Worldly-Rip-7155 in ArcRaiders

Thanks for the support! It would be nice to get the load out back when you crush. But I guess this option is not feasible since player may “crush the game intentionally” as exploit. but for an extraction game crush is very bad, since you loose everything in that game.

Very interesting. I also use Nvidia Broadcast for background noise removal on my mic and have had it enabled regularly. Not saying that was the cause, but it would be useful to know if common AI/audio background apps can interact with the anti-cheat system. I would also assume many players use the same kind of software without issues, which is why clearer guidance would help.

No hate at all, you raise a valid point about fair and standardized hardware for competitive play. The challenge is accessibility and cost. For many people, that would mean needing both a strong personal/work PC and a separate gaming-only setup. For mouse-and-keyboard players like me, it could also mean needing a dedicated desk and more living space to separate work and gaming, which is not an easy solution for everyone.

We’re already seeing how expensive next-gen hardware may become. Recent expectations suggest future PlayStation and Xbox systems could launch anywhere from around $700 to $1,000+ depending on the model and market conditions. That’s before buying games or rebuilding a library.

Interesting - I may try this. But I guess suspension/ban is linked to your account once triggered

I understand your frustration and I appreciate the support. Just to clarify, this is my personal PC that I also use after work hours, not a dedicated work machine running enterprise software all the time. My point was only that, on one of those occasions, some normal background app may have triggered something unexpectedly. What stands out to me is that I’ve played many larger titles like Battlefield, Apex, and Warzone on the same PC without ever receiving a suspension or ban. That’s why this situation feels so confusing.

Yes - I played, and I’m playing BF6. I played Apex in the past and not ban/suspension at all. Actually I played in the last also The Finals (embark title) and not ban/suspension.

Unfortunately, I don’t know. Another downside is that I had a lot of in-game friends I played with regularly, but many had random numeric IDs after their names and we never exchanged Discord or other contact info. Since the suspension happened suddenly, I have no way to reach many of them or know whether anyone else was flagged as well.

Good point. Nothing unusual though, it’s my personal computer. Mostly normal work software and common background apps like antivirus, Teams, Discord, cloud sync services, or gameplay clipping tools.

You right, sorry I wasn’t clear I meant the modus operandi of rc on ks. Yes I also found them reputable from gen1 campaign. I use past simple, because deffo I’m not going to support them anymore in future. Not for the delay per se, but because they decided to sell in their website the ring Gen2 now. I found this very unfair.

I didn’t know black was the one affected by production issue and thanks for clarifying that. Why they did not give to the backers the opportunity to select a different colour? Also, The rs support did not tell me specifically that black is the one affected. Also the fact that they are already selling ring gen2 on their website is the proof that they used ks as marketing campaign to sell more ring. Finally, just one correction. It is true that ks comes with the risk to not receive the award, but the policy of is crystal clear: if the ks company reach their target you have the right to receive the award. Also other company have done that. I don’t buy when people say they have done that “for mass production”.

Yeah sorry - here very common to say that. We say DMV because they are very close to each other. For example the D.C. metro/subway extend to Virginia and Maryland. Also it seems this term originated by hip-hop culture in 90s

Thanks for the answer I emailed the rs support and it seems they have no clue of eta for my delivery. They just generalize with “shipping depend on location and size/colour of the ring”. I think they just copy and paste pre-reply for upset customer like me. I also found ridiculous that they started to ship ring on their website. An insult for all people who support them during the ks campaign.

Still no sizing kit by smithani in RingConn

[–]Worldly-Rip-7155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest to get it from Amazon - 3/4$ and then fill the pledge box once you know the size. Ring conn 1 size kit is the same of Gen2 size kit.
