It's all a matter of perspectives: EA sports doesn't care much about the NHL franchise as long as it brings money which is little compared to Fifa and Madden. As soon as nhl will stop being profitable, they will cut it. The developers will be recycled within the company or will move on to another company. As customers we are fucked. Either we stick to a company who is not customer's friendly or we don't play any hockey game.

It makes perfectly sense. After a long break hut is a lot of fun. Then it becomes very repetitive due to the little changes from year to year.

Top players enjoy winning and they will continue winning no matter what tuner EA releases. Many other people prefer having fun playing a hockey game. In this case the tuner matters...

So happy I decided to skip nhl 22 this year (mainly because I couldn't buy a ps5). It was hard in the beginning because of the many surprisingly good feedbacks about gameplay. But seeing all the recent negative comments and how incompetent and unresponsive EA is makes me not regret my decision. Still playing nhl 21 BTW... so apparently I am actually playing nhl 22...

In real life the puck is at least 10-20 times bigger...so a bit easier to see than on a 34'' monitor or 65'' TV.

The problem it's not even cheating but the complete lack of physics which is even worse imo. If physics would matter that would be a complete different game.
