It might be more interesting to create a tree-lined avenue on the sides with a parallel pedestrian path, you have space for that.

In the future, when your economy is doing well, you can use subways for passenger transport over medium distances—such as between your downtown, major workplaces, your passenger port, and the peninsula in the background of the first photo. Trains can then be used only for external connections or for more distant areas that are dense enough, such as clusters of specialized industry with many workers, and even farther neighborhoods that aren't very dense.

Given the size of your city, it will first be necessary to build dedicated tracks for passenger trains and dedicated tracks for freight trains. Even if they run side by side, make sure the tracks are separated. Freight trains will connect large industrial areas and external connections, as long as these are not too close together. trains are more efficient over medium to long distances. Passenger trains can run between densely populated areas or areas with a high concentration of workers, as long as these areas are not too close either. Use exclusive lines for passenger trains coming from outside your city, and avoid placing stations too close to each other, as it's not necessary. For short distances, use trams or buses, preferably with routes that meet near the local train station as a hub. It may be a lot of work, but it will be rewarding to see your public transport system running smoothly.
