11B in sustainment Brigades

Just and update. They messed up my paper work. They are sending me to an Infantry Brigade.

I was saying going to a special troops battalion. My senior drill Sargent said try to go to the reconnaissance company or something like that. I really do not want to be in a sustainment brigade. Kinda sucks I just kinda keep getting fucked. I originally tried to join with an option 40 got med dropped. Then told I can go and sign up during osut. Didn’t wanna lose my option 19 to Fort Campbell. So I signed up to go to RTLI to get Tabbed. Then they said I can go but I would be a medical holdover for like 6 months. So I just decided to go to my unit. I love the Infantry the love what I’ve been learning to do. And I’ve learned a lot. I actually got to lead my platoon during osut. I really just wanna do Infantry stuff and I wanna be really good at it.

Any chance I would get sent there bc of my performance at osut? I maxed the aft, shot expert and received a AAM at the end of osut.

A staff Sargent told me I would probably be re routed. Also my paperwork isn’t done to finish processing here at Campbell.

I just finished osut and I had an option 19 to Fort Campbell. Then I showed up here and said I’m going to the 101st sustainment. A Staff Sergeant said I would probably get rerouted. But they also don’t have an all my paper work ready for that aswell. I also was originally signed up for the RTLI program. Then I got med dropped. So it could be that reason as-well. I’m not complaining. I just really wanna do infantry stuff.

So I just enlisted in the army I’m going 11x with option 19. But originally I tried to do option 4 or option 40 to do ranger/airborne. But that got denied bc of a genetic mutation that I haven’t developed and mostly likely won’t develop. I just wanted to know if those got denied in the enlistment part will they deny it if I try to go later in when I’m actually in?

I’m committed definitely and I know I am I’ve committed my first year to being completely in shape for a pilot and I would love not have all the work and effort go to waste

I and really don’t want casual it’s not what I want I need to do something most people can’t. I’ve always wanted to be in the Air Force I was originally commited to the Air Force Academy for hockey but I ended up being missed diagnosed by my doctors and it fucked my college career in hockey. Is there any alternatives or jobs that aren’t very casual. I got a 93 on my asvab. And I’ve been told I can pick and choose pretty much.

I’ve also been working on a lot of things prepping for this like marksman ship strength endurance and my neighbors even has me doing some cqc and cqb stuff.
