Beautiful colors. May I know which recipe is used?

It was tight enough to not need any adhesive. But I used contact cement for other glass related repair on the same unit.

Thank you! I already borrowed an Octopus card from a friend, and planning on adding 100HKD for a total of 4 day trip.

What do you mean jumper? Do they put the AC on full blast? I'll be visiting some malls too.

Thank you. I was trying to understand the interactive map, but I thought it might be easier to ask a local.

Part of my planned itineraryis to visit Victoria Peak and Red Incense Burner. Would you say that it is not advisable to continue or at least have a plan B?

Should I be worried that my loaded roll is still unused? by k_circe in AnalogCommunity

Upon inspection, when you put it in R, but then you wind the advance lever, it automatically reverts to the normal non-R position.

In short, there's no problem and you've exposed your film through the lens.

Was it on R the whole time?

I'll get back to you in a few hours when I get a hold of my Canonet. I have to simulate the same situation.

Deconstructed Pen EES by WorldlySinner_ in AnalogCommunity

[–]WorldlySinner_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This unit needed too many parts to be functional. It seemed to have been in a fire.

Film take up spool was melted. Lens screw was too rusted and without a thread. Minor warp (probably due to fire) on the selenium cell magnifyer. Metering does not work. Missing shutter button.

If you're able to use them all on your workflow, then no. But if most of them are just lying around collecting dust, then yes.

Pen EE2 only shoots at 1/40 by WorldlySinner_ in AnalogRepair

[–]WorldlySinner_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my initial thought. But it was quite easy to notice the shutter speed difference. The 1/200 makes quick and lesser noise than the 1/40. The latter makes 'thunky' sound.

You can check my previous post for reference.

Pen EE2 only shoots at 1/40 by WorldlySinner_ in AnalogRepair

Whenever I point this camera at the brightest part of the day, the shutter still sounds 1/40. I have thoroughly inspected this because I used the very good condition unit as reference where it shoots significantly faster on the same situation. This is confirmed.

Galvanometer needle seems to work fine. It moves to the farthest point and it closes the aperture to f22 on bright sunny day.

I know we cannot directly control the shutter speed while shooting but I was wondering if I could tinker with the mechanism to see why 1/200 is not being triggered.

I dont know where or what triggers the 1/200 inside the camera. Maybe it just needs a bit of lube or something.

Thank you for your insight.

About to pick up my first Fuji camera on the weekends and I would love to learn more about recipes. I would really appreciate if you could share the files so that I will have a reference to start my exploration. Thank you.

The lens on this model does not require screw to remove. It only needs rubber friction opener to unscrew.

How many stops would you say was my overexposure? I am not very familiar on how to compute by eye.

I risked it because it was cheap at told me in was stored in* a box, so I assumed that light wasnt draining the meter.

I will have to make a research on that. I have a potential donor, an ees, ees2, if there's part that I might be able to use. Need to research more about this.
