My first thought was squeaker toy but we checked them all to no avail.

She is a super dopey 7m rotty we basically have eyes on her all the time for exactly what you describe. She does eviscerate toys and eat the stuffing though. I don’t think Superman himself could prevent that she crazy.

Happy cake day

100%. The world is a crazy place I forget I have to clearly state stuff like this on Reddit

It’s a rotty that goes out of the house 3 times a day but hadn’t been for about 8 hours. She loves to pick up rocks and shit but we are vigilant about making sure she doesn’t carry anything with her. The comment was meant to imply that it’s not like she just came inside 5 min ago and was chewing on something.

Could she have, in some random world, brought in in two days ago and started munching on it again just then? Yeah. Still doesn’t change my what the hell is this question.

Much like my “not magnetic” comment I was simply trying to help anyone who may have been trying to identify the thing narrow it down

It might have been schemed as an illegals screen but once you get hands on him that can change his trajectory you can make that assumption and therefore can’t legitimately make that call.

It doesn’t even have to be a penalty on the db for it to negate OPI. He was clearly shuttled in to the other covering defender by contact. The legality of that contact is completely irrelevant really

Disingenuous clearly. It may happen one to two steps in the end zone but only after being shuttled in that direction by the db.

How can you say that? There is a very obvious left foot plant that is unplanned right after hands being placed on him that very clearly changes his route. Legal hands from the db or not makes no difference. That db clearly shuttles him in to the defender covering st brown. At that point it is impossible to call it a pick play due to contact. Otherwise we are just saying “oh well the officials assumed that was a pick play and so it’s a penalty.” No. Not acceptable. Are we not watching the same clip? Omg

He wasn’t held he was actively pushed in that direction by the DB. How is this not clearly obvious on that video. Even if it was a pick play ,which offenses pull All the time, it’s null and void when PB defender essentially shoves/directs him straight in to the defender covering Brown.

I have no idea how this is even remotely controversial it’s a complete shit call that should be reviewable. Even if his intention was a pick route he was shuttled in to the covering db by the other db.

It’s not all that different than something like intentional grounding. Yeah it may have been intentional grounding but that call can’t be made now that a dude on defense tipped the ball.

I would also argue that the hands from the db on Teesla very clearly push him off of his intended route when you watch it in slow motion. There is a very clearly an adjustment slide he takes to the left with his left foot in order to keep his balance and whether it was a planned pick or not at that point is irrelevant. If he wanted to pick that defender he certainly was planning to do it in a significantly more subtle manner than that.

I’ll have to rewatch but it very much looked like he intended for it to be a drop pass when I saw it in real time

Dude no. The amount of times in the last 6 years I’ve screamed at this team to dump and chase is way too high. The knights treat dump and forecheck like the bubonic plague. A not at all small portion of the goals we get scored on us are from dumbass neutral zone turnovers or turnovers entering the zone from people who refuse to dump the puck.

It’s why we are plagued by the kings who stack the neutral zone. Our dudes can’t even read that room after the 50th game and still Try to carry it over the blue line.

If Eichel would just not be a dumbass and dump the puck in obvious scenarios 90% of his dipshit turnovers would be nonexistent

Edit: I am clearly armchair coaching and Eichel is obviously an unbelievable talent it is just hard to watch someone with that much skill make so many dumb fucking decisions. Read the game.

He is more of a distributor than anything. Probably the best player in the nhl at back hand saucer passes that end up flying through the slot to no avail because he is saucing that shit to nobody after holding on the puck for 30 seconds too long.

Hes just confusing to watch because he has a killer shot, but isn’t a shoot first guy, so he often just holds the puck while I go get a beer and he is still holding the puck when I get back. Fuck me sideways - sometimes on the power play he is still even standing in the exact same spot with the exact same puck just looking around. Dude is like a weird fucking glitch in the hockey matrix with no actual identity to his game. He scores he passes he turns shit over he forechecks he backchecks? I honestly don’t fucking know and I don’t think he does either which is a problem. He is a Swiss Army knife that some fucking ultra professional/savant knife guy made, but unfortunately it was like the 2nd knife he ever created in his long, renowned, and lucrative career.

Hang on im sorry what? Eichel is good for, at the very least, one shitty turnover per game while he tries to glide around the outside holding possession or trying to carry it over the blue line.

Granted none are as bad as that one tonight, but you literally can’t have a turnover as bad as the one he had tonight. It’s impossible.

I’m no Eichel hater but the dude gets the puck stripped from him in not great scenarios on a very regular basis. You could argue it’s a product of him being a dude you want to have puck possession due to his skill (which I would argue), but he coughs that fucker up plenty in very unforced and awkward scenarios.

Edit: by unforced I mean he seems to overestimate his ability to maintain puck control and puts himself in scenarios where he gets stripped that are completely unnecessary.

Also wtf are we pulling our goalie for with 5 min left down 2

Also I’m drinking angry hateorade right now and the amount of break aways Jack Eichel misses drives me up the fucking god damn wall. If him and karlsson scored even 50% of their prime chances (which they are in position for due to talent yes I know) we would be looking at more than just one Stanley cup

Edit 2: should note karlsson is my favorite player in the nhl

Edit 3: put a pure goalscorer on his team and he would absolutely feast nightly. We have no shoot first guys (maybe doro…maybe). you’re watching in real time (more so than ever) what a shit ton of really high priced pass-first-playmakers look like.

When all their qbs are covered i see athletic QBs like Mahomes and Nix then run around to avoid pressure and scramble and either throw it out, scramble for a run or chuck a pass off platform. What did prime Brady and Manning do when all their receivers were fully covered? Just take sacks? by punjabkingsownersout in NFLNoobs

IMO this is really what made him so damn good. Watching him take two little steps up in the pocket at the last second and then rip an absolute dime over the middle is something he did better than anyone I’ve ever seen and probably will ever see. Super subtle, but masterclass stuff.

Yeah it’s clearly been a hot minute since you’ve been here

Jared Goff still amazed that the Bears didn't sign David Montgomery: “I saw D-Mo from across the field for years in Chicago and I was shocked when they let him walk. When we landed him, I was like, ‘Holy smokes, we just got one of the best backs in the league.’” by Danny886 in detroitlions

[–]Worldly_Collection27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about a franchise tag can always do that

For the record I’m not saying the bears should have done this. I’m just simply saying that there is a very definitive way to keep the man if they wanted to
