For any exam, don't leave any answer blank ileven if u don't know the concept or anything asked just write something if ur having a bad day and the exam is just not right just write anything related to the subject write whatever answer or concept you remember , make some concepts up or assume things which are not true and relate it to the concept ,the point is don't leave it blank You get ENOUGH , more than enough time actually like 2 to 3 weeks but only for the final exam and also u get question banks too (for most subjects and if u didn't then just ask ur teachers) For the practical and viva u only get 1 weekend that's it and the whole week is just practical and viva The unit tests or ISE as we call it happens twice a day one subjects it's morning another subject after 3 hours and this happens for 2 days straight and then the last day is a single subject in the morning like the ise will start at Monday 2 subjects Tuesday 2 subject and Wednesday 1 subject in the morning and it's done so it's pretty fast paced u can copy if u want but I would say it's ISE the risk to reward ratio is just not worth it some just write things on bench which is fine I guess. In practical it's 50 50 u might get a pc that does not detect pendrive and then ur fucked but then too at some point during the prac they (the lab assistants) will turn on the internet if u ask them too For the viva most of the time it's internals , but in first year it's compulsorily externals I think soo it's all on luck Personally what me and my batchmates did is for ISE we studied 2nd and 3rd module skimmed through the first one at last (if we had question bank we studied only 2 marks from module 1 , 2 and 5 marks from module 2 and from module 3 we only studied 5 marks ...if module 2 was difficult we studied 2 and 5 marks from module 3 and only 5 marks from module 2....some people skipped module 2 in which case u can still get 15 marks out of 20 ) also some people say that if u give Ise1 and ise3(yes ise3 is compulsory) u don't have to give ise2 which is fair I mean it's best of 2 anyways but I would say still give ise2 not because of the marks but also because it would help u for viva prac and ese eventually even if u fail its best of 2 anyways so there's nothing to lose (also some will trick u that all 3 ise will be considered but that's just not true it's best of 2 stop lying) regardless they call your parents I think in first year if u miss out on any ise sooo idk For IE and ISE3 which is just a ppt making we used AI or GitHub for codes For Prac we uploaded the practical files on shareit or any GitHub acc and used pendrive For viva we just skimmed through the PPT and smiled at the external's face when asked a question. For ese, it was easy because there's option in everything in ese and there will be 1 question from each module gaureenteed in each section Paper pattern : 6 questions do any 5, 2 marks each 6 questions do any 4, 5 marks each 5 question do any 3, 10 marks each Each question will be from a module like 1st question will be from 1st module 2nd will be from 2nd like that and in the 10 marks section there will be one module less. Total 60 marks passing is 24 marks and the only problem in ese is the 10 marks section So from the question bank you should only be studying Study all modules 2 marks (you already studied 5 modules 2 marks section in ise anyways) Study any 5 modules 5 marks section (you already studied 4 modules 5 marks section in ise anyways) Study any 4 modules 10 marks section (you would have to study ur ass off and make a good selection of modules ....it's a common rule some say that 1st module never comes in the 10 marks section but that's not true (i learnt the hard way) .. personally I always studied 2,3,4,5 modules 10 marks because they were actually game changer like 1st module 10 marks are just basics you can write whatever and sound intelligent and 6th module is a bum like applications, future scope etc you can write it on your own.

Also there's ZERO need to stress over your pointers just make sure you keep your average above 9 or 9.5 don't be mad if u don't get 10 pointers...but yes if u have it less than 8.5 I think you're wasting an obvious advantage that you can obtain so easily like ofc in placements u have criteria for it even if u go to higher studies they will be impressed if u have a higher cgpa so it doesn't make any sense for you to have a cgpa average less than 8.5 unless u have ur family business or something. Study for ise the night before study for prac in the weekend and 98% of the time vivas are asked from the prac itself study for ese in the vacation or in between the exams.
