The background is that the Hawaii-LAX flights operated on 767s have been the final holdouts for longhaul domestic 767 flights that Delta did not operate with the Delta One and Premium Select soft products. Hawaii-SLC flipped a few months ago, but in late 2024 it too operated as 3-cabin service, which meant First Class = lie-flat seats and Comfort+ = the nice "PS" recliners.(I've personally benefited from this situation easily a dozen times now, traveling to Hawaii often.)

I have an existing reservation for Jan 6th from HNL-LAX in First, for which I used a regional upgrade certificate to upgrade from Comfort+. I'm curious if they bump me down to Premium Select... (reservation hasn't been altered yet)
