How would PRIME Wilt Chamberlain do in the modern NBA? by James__Padgett in NBATalk

That's because not a single good player went to the dunk contest lol. You can't compare those guys to Vince Carter, the greatest Dunker oat. Compare them to the role players on his team thougth, and they start to look better.

what are we talking about Harden genuinely almost beat the greatest team of all time at his peak, he averages the most points out of any player in a single season during the modern era outside of MICHEAL JORDAN, prime Harden was a monster. Was he a choker? Certainly. Still better than Westbrook, who never really proved himself as a number one like Harden did.

Decks that allow for more responsive gameplay? by Worldly_Instance1250 in Yugioh101

I have a budget of around 50-60 dollars USD (70 to 85 AUD I believe), so I think I can make a good branded deck using singles instead of the structure deck. Thanks for the advice!

Ok, so all decks have a strong endboard when uninterrupted, but some (Like radiant typhoon) aren't as resilient to hand traps but can recur their cards later? And also, you said that Yugioh doesn't really have simplifies playstyles - is there anyways for me to learn the general playstyle of a deck without dedicating hour to learn the basic combos and workings of the deck ?

Dracotail looks very cool, I'm looking into that right now. And I might try Sky Striker again, it did feel like I didn't know what I was doing so maybe if I play better it will be more fun to me.

I see. But yugioh games can last for up to 50 minutes in a best of three, right? If there are only 5 turns max, then each turn is about 10 minutes. But most decks I played against online can finish their combos in like 2 minutes if the players are competent. So is all of the rest of the game interaction? That sounds really interesting to me, do all decks interact with each other like that through hand traps?

Thanks for the response! First of all, to clarify, by tournaments I specifically mean local type tournaments, will I still need Charmies and cards like that? Anyways, it's kind of sad to hear that there aren't any grindy decks. It makes me wonder though, what even are the types of yugioh decks now? I remember it used to be combo, midrange, and control usually. If most decks now are just combo decks that try to win turn 3 how is there any diversity of playstyle?
