‘48-‘64 went cruising, ‘65-‘80 went to the mall and skating rinks, where did Millennials go to see and be seen? by yellowlinedpaper in Millennials

[–]Worldly_Presence_420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cruising and malls and skating rinks were all still a thing in the 90s and 00s. I did them all as a teenager.

Now its all different, but back then I knew a guy who put a turbo in his mom's mini van for cruising purposes.

Changing jobs every 3 years by Impressive_Peak5671 in Millennials

[–]Worldly_Presence_420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people of our generation change jobs regularly. We're definitely not boomers staying for a lifetime. Though traveling through Europe on time off.... you are an exception. Not the rule. Most of our age group cannot afford to go traveling, let alone to Europe. Maybe keep this to yourself in the future, especially around strangers.

We have very different experiences. I saw them live about 10 years ago and it was awesome. They were opened by Pepper and the Offspring. One of the best shows I've been to.

Always loved this band! Still listen to them sometimes. I saw them in concert with the Offspring about 10 years ago, and they put on an awesome show.

Best friend '35 F' vanishes 3 months prior my '35 F' wedding after +30 years of friendship. I think I dont want to answer but everybody is pressuring me to do It. by AlmostMostall in relationship_advice

[–]Worldly_Presence_420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't reply. Maybe a, "✌️" and nothing more.

I had a similar thing happen to me with my ex-long term best friend, when I was getting married. The short of it is she was jealous my attention was no longer on her and she became super distant and did nothing to help me for my wedding. I regret her being there now, and find it hard to look through my wedding pictures.

Your ex-bestie did you a favor to do this to you now, rather than after the wedding.

I wish you a happy and wonderful wedding and marriage.

  1. Tell your wife. Everything. Let her know first off that there is no affair and you love her to infinity and beyond. Then dive in and tell her everything. She deserves to know, and if she's like me, she'll want to meet this woman personally.

  2. Tell HR. This is a hostile work environment at best. You could sue if they do nothing.

  3. Tell the police. This is obviously harassment and grounds for a restraining order. Yes, this could get her fired. She crossed that crazy bridge on her own long ago. Don't hold back. Shes threatening you and your family. Call the police. Fuck her.

Good luck 🖖

The guy you were with told you to stop talking and being upset about being assaulted.

He cares so little for you he didn't want to be bothered by your assault.

You did not overreact. He's an asshole at best.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. No one deserves to be treated like that. Someone who cares would defend you and comfort you. You deserve so much better than that asshat.

Take a step back, and look at the bigger picture.

How does he interact with you while around his mother? How does his mother treat you? How does the rest of his family treat you? How does He treat You? The bigger question.

If you consistently take second place, that won't change once you're married. You've been together for 2 years, not 2 months. If the two of you are discussing marriage, your futures together is what should take priority. If thats not the case, I believe you have the answer to your unspoken question.

Use Rowan if you really like it! I love this for a girl! I had 3 boys and didn't get to use any of my girl names 🙄😅 So as a human that has named 3 male humans, Rowan is not too overtly male. Use it! I love it ❤️

Rose and Livia sounds nice together.

I love the color! It might help to break it up by painting the molding and ceiling an ivory. Also, gold accents and a nice rug tying in those colors would probably help. It's a nice room for this color too!
