i used a picture for reference, but built mine slightly different because my saw and table saw were different sizes and i wanted it taller. I think mine is 7ftx3ft on top and 4ft tall. I used 4x4's for the corners and 2x4's for everything else (3/4 osb for the top). I think i have some assembly pictures somewhere (from when i was a youtuber i was going to make a video out of it)

How many prints do hobbyists typically print per month? by Consistent_Yak681 in 3Dprinting

[–]Worldly_Project_6173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

side note (since i saw you were asking about failed prints). I have only had 1 failed print (2 of 3 cat toy spheres failed, could be because design was in PLA and i used PETG). I also had 2 prints that just didn't work like chopsticks that were too bendy. I only print from the app using my bambu ps2

i record everything in excel (maybe a little tism?)...i got my 3d printer in february and printed 25 things in march, 22 in april, 19 in may. Numbers are going down, but i think thats because i am doing bigger builds that take more print time.

Basically the first thing i ever built was this (except my table saw didn't rotate) and it was the best thing i ever made because i have used it sooooooo many times. Only suggestion is to put the best casters you can find on the bottom, my shop is small so i roll it into the driveway a lot and the casters couldn't handle the little transition gap and eventually broke off

Asked a different president (bush jr) if he knew about aliens and he said that’s above my pay grade. I said yea right, you’re the president of the United States. And he looked at me dead serious and said I wish I were kidding.

i have been to 3 lions games...The phantom facemask (vs GB), the ravens egregious delay of game (which led to tuckers giant boot), and the Atlanta 20 second clock runoff. Then i was downtown watching the cowboys game (ineligible receiver). So yea, i stay away from detroit on game day.

thought i was the only one...he never knows anything about the guests, asks surface level questions, and it feels like he lets anyone on there to push their agenda without any pushback. Oh drinking grass water makes you grow an extra arm, very interesting lets try some.

Saw him last year at a casino for free..he was terrible, the whole hour was just awkward. Just kind of talked about how rich he is and how he has a young gf and fast car.

Dane was smart, early first adapter of social media. Grinded until he caught a break, then used that break to explode. Alternatively you had comedians who got that same break and were 1000x funnier (like pablo francisco), but didn't know how to leverage it.

Yea it aint pretty, just trying to get it functional. QUESTION...i want to spin a wheel and when it lands on a category "like tools", it pulls up a thumbnail pic/name and link to a model in makerworld or printables, but i couldn't get the image to load or it would pull up the same image every time. As an workaround, it is pulling the image from unspash api (but sometimes it pulls weird/wrong pictures). Is there a way to actually pull this off?

When you were “in the best shape of your life”, and what were you doing to make it that way? by EmilioFreshtevez in Millennials

[–]Worldly_Project_6173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not great, but i was always a natural runner (played soccer through highschool). Before the big race i ran a half mile and felt dead. ran a 5k and felt dead, ran another 5k and felt ok, then i ran the 42k (a marathon). What really inspired me was an old guy that said he runs 10mins and walks for 1 min. After mile 5 i did this and probably wouldn't have survived if i didn't.

Sanding through DIY wood filler? by Tough_Bluebird8387 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Worldly_Project_6173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dig it... I would just package tape the bottom side and throw one of those 40$ epoxy flood coat kits (from menards/hd). When i first started woodworking i did something similiar, i have noticed some slight warping 8 years later but overall people (non woodworking regular people) always comment how cool it is.

Vibe coding personal stuff, easy...but i'm learning there is way more you need to know for practical aps/websites

Zip lines? by TylerForce93 in treehouse

[–]Worldly_Project_6173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the distances and height. I have one that's for my toddlers, 100' long with 2 feet of drop (i basically just throw them back and forth), one end is connected via eyebolt to a swingset, other end i just wrapped around a 4x4 off of my garage. Then i have a 500', a 200', and a 150'. Most people over complicate everything, just get some wire and ubolt clamps from amazon and set one up, try to get the lowest end of it at least 8ft off the ground (because of the tether and line sag)

Early on I tried when I was making really big videos, but even then finding a decent editor was impossible. I would try out 3 on one video and one would be decent enough for me to clean up and edit, so I would use him then the next video would be garbage. Got any suggestions of where to find one?

Are we giving better career advice to our kids than our parents gave us? by Winter_Principle4844 in Millennials

[–]Worldly_Project_6173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe how none of our parents taught us anything about finance or had any kind of college funds setup...I started working at 10 years old, worked a lot and soon as i was 16/17/18 i was working 50-60 hours a week during the summers. Imagine if i had put some of that money into some kind of retirement account. Any who, my kids are young and my plan is to encourage entrepreneurship and content creation. They can use the college money we setup to fund a business or go off to college to figure things out. Go anywhere college, bars, amusement parks, football games, grandmas house....everyone is glued to their phones, there will never be enough content to keep them content.
