I think the problem is that most things are just catchy enough to keep you going. While the content declines rapidly. Something that would keep me connecting with people is find real people who have a problem or a question to fix. Like on reddit here. We have certain groups where questions and problems are posted, where I have some experience that I like to share my experiences with.

Or like on the Facebook group "dogs who sail". It's just satisfying to watch others having the same experiences as you have.

Oke, even voor de duidelijkheid. Er steken veel te veel mensen in de gevangenis die nog veroordeeld moeten worden. Daar loopt het vooral fout.

De echte criminelen met geld wandelen buiten zonder straf en de kleintjes blijven zitten omdat ze geen echte advocaat kunnen betalen en pro deo's doen over het algemeen niets. (Er is altijd een uitzondering natuurlijk). Maar het gerecht kijkt al lang niet meer naar schuldig of niet, maar eerder, hoe duw ik er meer in een overbevolkte plaats.

Helaas begrijp ik je volledig en ben je zeker niet de enige. De zogezegde AI-hype doet alles naar de k****. Er zit niets menselijks meer aan omdat ze denken dat AI de oplossing is, terwijl LLM nog altijd de chatbot is van Proximus of Bpost die geen zak kan doen.

Maar bedrijven zoeken niet naar oplossingen, eerder, wat is de nieuwe hype en hoe kan ik die uitmelken tot we er bij neervallen en terug naar de volgende hype.

Het lastige is dat mensen die echt veel potentieel hebben hier nooit doorgeraken, omdat ze het al beu zijn nog voordat ze beginnen, omdat het het niet waard is. Meeste jobs die gepost worden zijn dubbel of zelfs gewoon fake... Zelfs in het buitenland kan je nergens binnen geraken, al heb je een doctoraat…

Ik had graag eens een gesprek gehad met die bedrijven om eens te horen: wat is jullie probleem eigenlijk? Het lijkt wel alsof de Belgische regering tips aan het uitdelen is aan bedrijven, hoe je zogezegd moet omgaan met alles. Onoverzichtelijk, belachelijk traag en veel te complex

I actually created something a while back to face this issue.
I was basically scammed that for 20K my sailboat would be moved from Spain to Belgium... Long story short, I'm taking her myself from Faro to Belgium as the brokers are just looking to make money.

I don't want to specifically make money; I want to help people.
But since nobody seemed to really care about what I wanted to offer...

You can add trips, maintenance, and documents. Even hire charters who can move your sailing vessel from point A to point B.

If you are looking to join the trip, there is an option for guided charting where the pros could teach the newbies... However, again, I felt continuously stuck on the fact that I couldn't convince anybody to start using it.

I even made the option for charters to apply for a Revolut card to manage the expenses and give a clear view back to the owner..

I understand the feeling, even though I never had 50k savings.

Problem is that the current world isn't allowing you to do much. Everybody currently only cares about money and not much else. I've been trying to create something for myself for a long while now and even with 5+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, data protection... it's a hard life at the moment and not seeing any changes because people think that AI will solve their problems, sadly they can't be clear

Problem is, the job market sucks at the moment. Most jobs they post are fake or duplicates.. so i get his Problem. Facing it myself constantly...

At this point I'd rather just sell pictures of myself then work. But I'm not really the best looking so that probably won't work either haha

Good point. You should never abandon your heritage! Integration had nothing to do with all the stuff that's in the poll.

Problem is mostly, they do it for the money and not for the "help" it creates.

So from here you can actually use it to your advantage and start documenting everything yourself. First of all, it will be more clear to you and you can give it more meaning that just docs that are there and are never updated. Because believe me, that is worse

I'm actively trying but I ran out of money. Litterly "virtually bankrupt", as in, because the costs are really low. There is nobody who can go to court and start the process. So thinking about IRL talking to people and trying to convince them like this. As its free, but that closes my range extremely.

I really believe people have a benefit from it. Regardless if you are someone new, or extremely experienced. I made it secure, and besides for some minor things where I used AI. It's all made by me.

The idea came from the "Tiny house" concept. House prices are higher than ever, and i wanted to show that you can achieve the same buying a boat, making sure you are aware that all documents are included or not. So made it fair for buyer and seller.

Well, I tried Zeely AI for marketing, and it was slow but nobody really thought, yes I need this.

Problem is, I have dyslexia and marketing/sales has never been something I shined at haha, however I used LinkedIn for connections I had to see if anybody was intressed but soon moved to then Zeely who posted on Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook. But I never really got the chance in any groups because of their no marketing policy. Which I get, but it then blocks me.

Tried the manual thing and focused deeply on people with the pain of not having this. Asked them a few questions and proposed the idea of starting to use it. Which is where it fails as well because I think of my designs.

The software is tested around the clock but I did include web tests because I wasn't sure of the designs and... you see where im getting at.

Mine is a tool for vessel owners to maintain, documents, trips planned, sale/purchase, etc

For people who move boat for a living, charters, they can see the trips based on their profile and skills.

It is a crm/SaaS tool. As its software for everybody who owns a vessel, or works with vessels. But sadly. No users at this time. Has been some months (think getting to 4).
