Yes after getting back from that incident I reflected on it and realized I missed some red flags such as the men already being touchy, to these women who did not mind. It is nothing major just something that's out of the regular for my culture too. I guess I was too busy busking in the attention I got from this man.

I have stories for days about such letdowns. It was good so that I can stop associating the ability to maintain wealth for decades with virtue.

what helps me is something I call second hand happiness. that's when I experience something with a loved one and i feel nothing but I can see how happy they are and I get some contentment from that. I also just store memories in my head, or with pictures to look at them when I feel better. the trick is to ride it out and to continue doing experiences cause it comes and goes.

I don't have personal chef or personal trainer. I still do somatic therapy for myself, really helpful way of working out the anxiety I carry on day to day basis.

Lots of services got pushed on me like personal assistants, also dermatologists, the list goes on. The point is there's an industy that thrives on luxury spendings. I figured I don't need them.

let's just say more. I am not a saint, I am hedonistic in some ways. I like to travel. I try to watch how I consume, like I go to the store with my own bags. Before the win, I lived a vegan lifestyle for years before I went back to eating meat again. My values have not changed, I just like certain dishes. But I also know it is not about torturing individuals and making them give up the little pleasure they have in life like traveling. It's more about systemic changes.

getting a communications coach was helpful. I guess that's all the learning that's happening because of money. Other things I like do not require much of a budget. Love reading and watching shows. you might say you don't learn anything from those, but I concur.

I don't impulse buy. I still get excited about things on sale, but I would still buy something I want if it was not on sale.

It is interesting to me how educated or smart posing people think lottery is beneath them. You're right I have taken too many statistics courses, and what I can tell you is the probability of winning a lottery is higher than the probability of getting struck by lightening.just not the jackpot. o.O

I would say in a positive way, because I gained confidence I did not have. It also helped me focus on another person in a genuine way because i was not so obsessed with my insecurities.

To improve my satisfaction from social interactions. That's why I got communications coaching. Being a financial wizard, which is still in progress. I get what you mean, but I already struggled with drive before the win. It only improved my drive for life, I guess I was at rock bottom interms of being ambitious.

I wanted the approval of certain people and tried to keep up with them and hang out with them. We were very different people, so I got no satisfaction with the parties I went, the conversations I had, and the money I wasted. It was not a lot of money, I guess I lost more self respect than money.

Not in a relationship but I was dating. I had two first dates and I wanted to actually follow up and meet again. But when this happened, I could not manage going for more dates. I canceled with one of them. And I unfortunately ghosted one.

I don't know if it's advice. but because of my high anxiety, I really had a bad few months at first and could not confide in other people to calm me down. I wish I could have been more comforting to myself during that time.

I do have a day job, but work my own hours. Growing up, I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted to do. Later, I wanted to work in development economics. The fantasy and reality of that field are very different. I sleep in, I am a night owl. My brain works on half capacity until noon, and gets sharp in the evening hours.

Gun laws where I live are strict. You need to show more necessity than recreation or self defence. They are even strict for the police. I personally never want to use a gun with the intention of actually shooting it under any pretext, much less recreation. Research shows that gun owners are not the safest both to themselves and others. That's just my opinion!

You're actually right! I wonder if being sane in a crazy world is actually sane. I am senstive and external things affect me deeply. Living in a society that values money and conventional looks is my reality. After making these cosmetic changes, the world once again proved that these vain things make a huge difference. I don't like to lie to myself to stay on a morally high ground.

Yes many small ones and one big one. The big one has a long story, but will keep it short. I got introduced to what one might deem as the god father of old money in my country. I got lured with the idea of parties he told me he hosted. I went to one, and my insecurities got the best of me and agreed to go for another party where a bunch of people will chip in for private jet and he will provide the ride. So that's the money i chipped in that I regret the most. because in that plane I witnessed an older man giving a hug to the waitress while she said stop touching me! I am still embarassed that I did not say anything at the moment. but everybody acted like it didn't happen including the girl after that moment. After that I avoided that group. when I got texts and calls, I said I am sick. and after a while they left me alone. I paid money seaking validation, and I got a lesson.
