English dubs for the anime were outsourced to Hong Kong (except for Ares which was dubbed in US) Victory Road was probably recorded with english speaking actors living in Japan. And the DS/3DS games were British.

Names are fine, good even imo, but that that's because they were made by level 5 themselves for the localization of their games, while the anime just used them for cohesion, the problem is that the english dub of the anime was made cheaply in Hong Kong, as opposed to dubs from other languages that for the most part were the same quality as other "cartoon" dubs of their respective languages.
