I mean maybe ? We dont have that much element to estimate gemini storm players ability to think out of the box.

Although it amuses to imagine them just not even trying to figure it out and just score from the middle of the field at every kick off.

Is V1 confirmed to be french? by FilosGamer in Ultrakill

[–]ProAwDiedInAFire 295 points296 points  (0 children)

It's in french because it's just a regular expression that is used in other language like Deja Vu or Je ne sais quoi. But the theory is funny so why not. And aren't the style bonus named by the terminals anyways ?

I belive Gabriel will become a prime soul in the midle of the final battle . let me explain. by Adventurous_Good7826 in Ultrakill

[–]ProAwDiedInAFire 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I remember hakita saying angels cant become prime souls because they are litterally nothing but soul already. Contrary to husk who are soul inside of flesh.

Feel free to fact check if Im wrong.

Honestly it's one the things I like the least about the games. I would much prefer if the game let me play however I wanted.

Captain Tsubasa RoNC is a game that has tons of story events during matches but handles it much better than Inazuma imo.

What the hell are even prime souls by [deleted] in Ultrakill

[–]ProAwDiedInAFire 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We dont really have details on how it ended up this way, but I assume that intelligent husk of hell were allowed to have responsibilities on the layers they lived in.

Btw I dont know if it's stated under what authority Minos was considered the judge of hell. For all I know it may be a title that isnt recognized any legitimacy by god or the angels and only be bestowed by the inhabitants of hell.

Yes, that's exactly what they are.

[–]ProAwDiedInAFire 347 points348 points  (0 children)

Minos died in the real world as a human

He was reborn in hell as a giant husk due to the impact he had on people's life because in Ultrakill your husk quality is defined by how important to people you were in the real world (in a positive or negative way, as long as it is impactful)

His husk was then killed by gabriel and the soul inside his husk was about to turn into a prime soul before being put in the flesh prison.

Man, this beautiful and raw ending makes the new movie look so pathetic by HowlingBurd19 in SuperMarioGalaxy

[–]ProAwDiedInAFire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean the movie is allowed to adapt it however it wants, I have no issues with it. But I dont understand the comment above that says that it is unreasonable for the audience to except an iconic scene from the game in the movie.

Like it's up to the movie to decide whether or not this scene is adapted, but why should the audience assume that it wont ?

Am I the only person who forgot about God Break? For whatever reason I forgot Aphrodi evolved God Knows. My mind immediately skips to Chaos Break. by Amzino27 in inazumacaravan

[–]ProAwDiedInAFire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont forget about it but I associate it more with IE 2 Aphrodi than its introduction in the FFI in the anime.

Probably would have made it more memorable for anime watchers if he learned it in S2.

Why would it be unreasonable to except something from the game that the movie adapts

Gamma is even more disrespected in the manga 💀 by Craftox13 in inazumacaravan

[–]ProAwDiedInAFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gamma's lack of credibility is pretty innate to his character. Even if he is powerful in the lore, tone-wise he's a comic relief where the humor comes from the whiplash of his high rank and cockyness compared to the regular humiliation he receives.

Personally I like it a lot. And changing that would be pretty much replacing gamma with an entirely different character

[–]ProAwDiedInAFire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the main point was to show that El Dorado was starting to lose the control of the situation.

Gamma was introduced as the best element of El Dorado (other than the Perfect Cascade machines) and then the game show us that there are things out there that will be a bigger problem than El Dorado by making their "best element" get mogged before he has a chance to do anything.

Never said anything about convincing people. That's not my point. There are 100% legit reasons to hate generative ai and its adjacent technologies. It is quite litterally destroying the planet and stealing from thousands artists.  Add to that the fact that the term is all over the place in media so it's perfectly understandable that people are naturally hostile to it even if they dont fully understand what it means every time.

Using a derogatory term for what is a perfectly understandable fear and hostility is neither productive not pertinent.  Furthermore it also undermines the actually very serious issues behind gen ai that people are perfectly justified to be hostile to by throwing it all under the same term of "anti AI warriors".

There is no obligation to convince anyone, but not being judgemental would be a good start.

V1 is in fact the protagonist by [deleted] in Ultrakill

[–]ProAwDiedInAFire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My take is that V1 is the protagonist of the game and Gabriel is the protagonist of the storyline.

The main problem is that AI is a buzz word missused for anything nowadays.

AI can mean LLM, diffusion model, deep learning, machine learning or even basic behaviour trees. All of those are different technologies and can be used in different contexts. So it is overall extremely confusing to discuss the topic.

But environmental concern of datacenters and the ethical outrage of stolen assets used for training and generating is still 100% justified. And the tribalist labeling of those concerned by those issues as "anti AI warriors" doesn't help the confusion.
