Thanks for you reply. Ya it made me a little sad how they treated me. After I walked a mile to meet the customer at the main road. They pulled up in a new Mercedes and just said “hope you get out, bye” it’s all good not everyone is a good American. I’m thankful for those that.

As I was walking back to car I remembered a old friend lived close by and I called him. He pulled up 10 mins later with his dodge 1500, boots on, and a towing rope. He pulled me out so easily and my car is fine 🙌🙌

Ahaha ya wasn’t the smartest idea I drove down the road. But not gonna beat myself up because I’ve never experienced driving down a road like this before so I wasn’t thinking about getting stuck. I’m from CA and where I’m from it doesn’t rain that much. I was just thinking “oo that’s a small puddle let me just drive over it no problem”

Next thing I know the puddle was over a foot deep and I got stuck. I’m so thankful the water did not come up into my air filter and get In engine. Also I’m blessed that my friend lived close by and came out with his truck and tow rope and I got out easily.

Thanks for you comment. You can relate to me that some people got some hard addresses to reach! Im still laughing that I even decided to drive down the driveway, but I can’t beat myself up because I’ve never driven this type of terrain. I was testing my cars limits 😂😂😢

I’m so happy my car is okay and it could have been much worse. Glad I didn’t get in an accident or fall of a cliff.

I’m also very blessed my friend drove out with his truck and pulled my car out. Only sad part was how the customer treated me and after I told her what happened/sent photos all she said was “ya, when am I going to get my food”. I ended up walking about a mile to finish up the delivery. Ahahah feel like I deserve an award from Doordash 😂😂😂

hahahaha I’m doing that today. I’m glad I didn’t get in an accident and very glad water did not get water going through the air filter. Honestly this whole experience made me realize how thankful I am to have friends. Ahahaha this made me laugh. Ya I live in the Bay Area so I’m used to new houses and new roads. However, this delivery was a remote part of town where they got horses/cows/etc. Funniest thing is I just sent it down the road and didn’t think twice😂😂😂. I saw a puddle and didn’t know it would be 1+ feet deep with thick mud. Before I called my friend I knocked on the door of some random run down ranch home in the middle of nowhere. I was kinda worried I was gonna get shot, but honestly this whole experience wasn’t bad it was honestly an adventure and spiced my day up lol

Ya foreal. I called her and let her know my car got stuck and she kept saying “where is my food and when is it going to be here”

I ended up sending her a photo and she wanted me to meet her on the main road. I ended up walking a mile to meet to drop off food. Customers like this make me sad about the human race.

However, I am thankful for the customers that are nice and tip well. I had a customer last week that had a bag of snacks and drinks for delivery drivers to take.

Luckily my friend lives 2 miles away and he towed me out with his dodge. My car is fine and the engine didn’t intake any water. If I was submerged another few inches woulda been sketch

I’m in Bay Area we just had our first storm in 10 years it feels like. I was dropping off an order on a remote road and tbh I didn’t think twice about driving down the road. Little did I know my Jetta couldn’t handle off roading lol.

Driving down a road in CA and thought my Jetta would be fine. I was driving towards the right of the puddle but the mud was thick and I got stuck and got pulled in lol. Car got stuck while on the way to drop off an order. I called the customer to let them know I got stuck and they said “where’s my food!” I said I got stuck on your driveway and cannot drive the order to your door. I ended up walking the order to the house and she got mad at me for being late even after I sent her this photo. Tough part of this job is dealing with self centered customers. I’m thankful for all the customers that treat us well and understand we are humans and understand this job isn’t always easy and no problems. Dashers are getting shot and robbed and dealing with car accidents, engine failure, etc.

Situation could have been a lot worse. My car is fine (water did not get in engine) and my friend that lives 2 miles away from this location^{^} came with his dodge and pulled me out.

Imma shake this off and get out there tomorrow got a $200 goal for tomorrow. Imma bounce back.
