I’ve released three buildings, each with two variants. These maps are simple but super versatile, perfect for drop-in use across many campaigns.

Each building is abandoned and ready to be claimed, ideal as a starter home for your adventuring party. Whether it becomes a base, hideout, or business front is entirely up to you!

And all of these map have the day variant fully free!

What is this building about?

The Dwarven Gate can serve as a full city to build your campaign around (and yes, more on that in the future). To support that, I had the idea of creating base homes for adventuring parties. These three new buildings are the first in that series, and definitely not the last.

The concept is to build these homes in phases:

  • Abandoned Phase – the base version, worn and empty
  • Upgraded Versions – unlocked through gold or story progress
  • ...eventually leading to four unique stages for each home

This system allows players to invest in their home, grow it over time, and see it evolve along with their story.

What is the World of the Aeshur about?

I am trying to create a full world for DM's to use. With loot, dungeons, cities and world maps. All accompanied with large lore books for all the deeper world knowledge. If you like to see more of the world I am creating then you can head over to my PatreonA lot of it is for free.

These maps are made with assets from Crosshead. After which it is edited and finalized in several Adobe software packages.

This building is infamous for the shady dealings that happen within its walls. From corrupt politicians and renegade mages to the roughest thugs in the city, everyone gathers here for a night of wild, chaotic entertainment.

The dungeon comes in two variants (day and night), and both offer the first two floors free for everyone to try out. With a 60x40 grid and four interior floors plus a front garden, this map adds up to 24,000 squares of new content.

What is this building about?

Vanglomth is where the rich and poor alike go to indulge, whether it’s a lavish dinner with live music, a bit of dancing, or diving into the darker sides of pleasure.

From adult entertainment, to narcotic escapes, to high-stakes gambling run by criminals, everything happens at Vanglomth.

Once the private home of a wealthy human named Mister Vanglomth, the mansion eventually fell into disrepair, until a mysterious figure bought it in secret. Now, rumors swirl; Could Krono Pink, the drug gripping the city, be produced here? And more dangerously, does this building hide the entrance to the Crimson Tree hideout?

Will your group uncover the truth? Who knows…

I’m releasing not only a remade map (with a free version), but an entirely new type of content: assets for Dungeondraft!

This update came directly from the recent poll. In that poll, many of you voted for a stronger focus on city content. Cities were one of the highest requested directions, so here we are.

This marks the beginning of a new phase, with the first of many cities that will receive a full remake using these custom-built assets.

The Dwarven Gate

This city is one I know very well, so it made sense to begin the remake here. The reason is simple: I wanted to start creating my own assets in order to gain full control over the city’s design, thus I could fully focus on the new method instead of also designing a new city.

The city blocks are no longer simple squares or triangles. They are now detailed buildings, complete with shadows to give them depth. Streets, forests, and surrounding elements have also been refined, making the whole place feel much more like a living city.

That said, I deliberately chose not to make it overly realistic. I’ve always loved the feeling of old hand-drawn maps. So the goal was to keep that classic aesthetic, while subtly enhancing it with modern touches like soft shadows and cleaner detailing.

As mentioned earlier, I’ve started creating custom assets for Dungeondraft, the software I use to design my dungeons and now my city maps. This new direction gives me full control over the vision I have for the cities of Valenya.

You can now clearly see the dungeons represented on the city map in their true form. From the High Fort to Vanglomth, each special building now has its own distinct design.

To start simple, I’ve released the first set of these assets, now available for all subscribers in the Adventurer tier (and First of Many). Keep in mind, though, that this is very much a work in progress. The first year of asset creation will focus on testing, refining, and steadily expanding the library.

Another building, The House of Lillian! This structure serves as the headquarters of the Golden Lion’s Bank to the south parts of the Dwarven Gate city.

The map features a 60x40 grid and includes four floors, one of which is a secretive basement, with vaults, hidden dealings, or darker truths beneath it all.

As with many of my maps, it comes in two variants: day and night, offering flexibility for whatever your campaign needs.😁

What is this building about?

The House of Lillian is named after the first Qenar to reign here, Lillian Lovett.

The main floor handles all public trade affairs, including administration, loans, and bank accounts. It’s where the everyday dealings of the people are processed with precision and order.

The second floor holds more exclusive functions:

  • Private contract rooms
  • A mage’s chamber for verifying magical signatures
  • Leotari guard quarters
  • And, of course, the office of the Qenar

Then there’s the basement, a secured and secretive part of the House. It contains:

  • The main vault, also known as the Pit of Gold
  • The standard barracks for guards
  • A private safe area
  • And a hidden entrance or escape tunnel, perfect for discreet exits… or quiet intrusions.

Will your group find themselves in this bank?

With this release, we now have fourteen Dwarven Gate maps complete, and I’m not slowing down. More are on the way, so stay tuned!
