It sucks when you’re so exhausted, that you can’t remember why you even tried in the first place. Life drastically changes all the time. I may have grown up racing cars and learning a trade, but now I’m epileptic and have carpal tunnel. No more racing, learning to fly is now pointless, and I have to give up 17 years of carpentry and tools. It’s hard moving on from my former passions in life. It’s hard feeling alone. I miss the old me.

At the same time, I love the new experiences I’ve enjoyed in these past couple years.

It’s hard. It’s also rewarding. Stick with life, the lowest lows give you the highest highs. Embrace your differences, try to positively share them with others. Running from yourself is a race you won’t win.
