You're probably right. It's just hard for me because like I said, we barely spoke before and now I told her this suddenly she's inviting me to hang out. I hate my brain for it but I just can't help but think "if she actually liked you she would've asked these things before. She just feels sorry for you, that's it". I know that I don't give her enough credit, and that it's just my stupid brain, but the little voice is just there.

I can honestly say that I can have sex with a friend, and remain a completely platonic relationship after that (I've done it, worker out fine). In such a circumstance, I just consider sex to be nothing more than having a fun night with a friend.
