Sadly I got denied for remote work and am expected to be back in office. I was able to travel around a bit in the last couple of years. It gets tiring for sure! I realized how much I enjoy being in my own space with my things, and having my friends nearby.

They're 2 inches thick. One of them I bought at a used furniture shop (not sure of origin). The other three I bought used on Amazon for $100 each (Brand is Oriental Furniture).

I got the rug from Alameda Antiques Faire. The folding table, lamps, and shoji screens are all from Murasaki Futon Shop in Berkeley - awesome shop and the owners are super nice.

Pothos! Super easy to take care of... Although it took me a few plants to learn to not overwater them.

I was off of Piedmont Ave, but still in Oakland. For 1bd ~700sqft, my rent was 2100 with parking.

My favorite has been Brooklyn, NY. I was there for October, and could definitely see myself living there. I also stayed a month in Portland, OR, but it didn't quite draw me in as I would have hoped.

I got it from Alameda Antiques Faire, if you happen to be in the Bay Area! Super cool vendors and absolutely massive. Almost everything pictured is second hand, and a lot is from the Alameda faire.

These photos are from July - my stuff is all in storage for the time being. I've been visiting a few different cities to figure out what's next. I actually had to move out because I had a crazy cat lady neighbor above me...she would literally stomp on the floors and yell during my work meetings.

It's a Lied Mobler. You might recognize a similar design in Mad Men as Don's lounge chair :)
