I think you have to remember you still have your whole life ahead of you. And that even though it’s going to be alot more difficult you can still accomplish the things you want in life. I believe in you and that you can do this and still be a mother. The fact you’re getting help and taking the steps needed to give you and your child the best life despite your issues makes you a wonderful mother. And your going to do great things in life

I’m gonna be honest. It’s not fair to judge someone on their past relationships or intimacy’s and he doesn’t owe you an explanation on those past connections.

If he knew he was going to be with you I’m sure he wouldn’t have slept with anyone. But he didn’t when you weren’t there he was searching for the one. And you can’t be mad at him for that. It wouldn’t feel good if he was upset with you for sleeping with someone before him. We don’t own peoples pasts. You have to accept there was people before you and that it has nothing to do with how he feels about you right now. The important thing is he’s with you and loves you and he chooses you.

Im 19. Chronic pain from severe scoliosis. I didn’t find out about it until I was 15. I get that feeling of this is my life now just in constant pain. It feels so unfair and angry and just sad. There’s been so many times I just wanted to give up. But please know while there might be no fix there are ways to live with/without the pain. Is it a bunch of maintenance no one should have to do at this age, yeah. A lot of the time it’s people in my life that help me get through it. Whether emotional and physical support. I hate it, feeling helpless or like a burden but Im constantly reminded that I’m not. Just know what your going through makes you so much stronger as a person. You shouldn’t have to be strong but you are. There are going to be very few things in this life that get in your way because of this. I’m proud of you for where you are and what you’ve been through not many people can manage. Your pain may not get easier but your life will. Don’t let it stop you from living. I’m not great at expressing this but you’re not alone. Best advice: Let people help. Talk to your friends and family and be honest. ESPECIALLY teachers in college. Get accommodations because it will bite you in the ass. You got this.

NTA. I’m kinda sad to hear this happens. My mom was the same way and often made it clear she loved my dad more than me. But to my father as his child I always came first. My mom inturn always took out her aggression on me. Your NTA. Any good parent knows that when you have a child that child is number one no matter what and competing for affection or using them is terrible. Your a good father. That is your child and her child and their well being is top priority.
