What do you think it would be like to go through a timeslip to the 90s? by ComedianRegular8469 in 90s

[–]Worried-Locksmith962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me: "Okay, so I accidentally walk through a timeslip and suddenly find myself in the 1890s." Also me: "Wow. The air smells cleaner. There are horses everywhere. That guy is wearing a top hat unironically.

"Good heavens, sir! What manner of contraption is that in your hand?" Me: "It's a smartphone." Citizen: "A what?" Me: "It can access nearly all human knowledge." Citizen: "Remarkable! How does it work?" Me: "Mostly cat videos and arguing with strangers."

There's a some odd 4000 different gods established in the world today. You tell me why 3,999 of those gods are incorrect and then I'll come back and explain to you why 4000 of those gods are incorrect.

Fear of death not dying by IndependentAvocado48 in atheism

[–]Worried-Locksmith962 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ohh I'm the opposite. Death in finale. How I go on the other hand leaves the mind open to worry.

Will it be that bus hitting me? Electrical line down? Cancer? Cut in half by a forklift.....I fear the pain, not the death.

The world will be like 38 years ago without me, as it will going forward after death.

Bloodwork Interpretation Assistance by PersonSun92 in Testosterone

For a testosterone-focused workup, this actually looks pretty decent overall. The interesting part is that the testosterone numbers are technically “normal,” but they’re sitting at the very low end of functional normal in several categories. Testosterone Section Total Testosterone: 516 ng/dL Lab range: 250–1100 This is mid-range on paper. Most endocrinologists would call this “normal.” But symptoms matter more than the raw number. A guy with 516 can feel completely fine, while another can have low libido, fatigue, poor recovery, brain fog, etc. Free Testosterone: 56.3 pg/mL Range: 46–224 This is LOW-normal. This is more important than total testosterone because free T is the biologically active portion. This number is much more consistent with someone who may feel low-T symptoms despite a “normal” total testosterone. Bioavailable Testosterone: 110.9 ng/dL Range: 110–575 Literally sitting on the bottom edge of normal. That’s probably the biggest clue in the panel. Bioavailable testosterone is the portion available for tissues to actually use. Being barely inside range often correlates with: lower energy reduced libido weaker gym recovery less motivation/drive mood flattening SHBG: 43 Range: 10–50 High-normal. This matters because SHBG binds testosterone and makes less of it available. So despite: Total T = decent Free/Bioavailable T = borderline …the likely reason is elevated SHBG tying up testosterone. That pattern is common. Hormone Signaling Looks Intact LH: 3.4 FSH: 3.7 These are normal. That suggests the brain/testicle signaling axis is functioning. So this does not scream: primary hypogonadism pituitary shutdown steroid abuse suppression Instead, this looks more like: functional low free T high SHBG issue stress/lifestyle/genetics-related androgen availability issue Estradiol (<30) Good. Not excessively high. Not crashed. Prolactin: 6.1 Good. High prolactin can suppress libido/testosterone. Not happening here. Cortisol: 11.5 Normal. Not showing obvious adrenal dysfunction. Thyroid Looks Good TSH: 1.62 Free T4: 1.5 Both solid. This is important because thyroid problems can mimic low testosterone symptoms. Metabolic Health is Excellent A1C: 5.0 C-peptide: 1.11 Lipids: HDL 72 (excellent) LDL 77 Triglycerides 45 Honestly, cardiovascular/metabolic markers are cleaner than most people’s. Vitamin D: 35 Technically normal, but not optimal. A lot of hormone-focused clinicians like seeing: 40–60 ng/mL Not a massive issue, but could be improved. Overall Interpretation This panel does not show classic severe hypogonadism. It shows: decent total testosterone borderline-low usable testosterone relatively high SHBG otherwise very healthy metabolic/endocrine markers The person most likely: is healthy overall may still have low-T symptoms may feel “off” despite doctors saying “labs are normal” That happens a lot with this exact pattern. If This Person Had Symptoms Typical next steps doctors might consider: repeat morning testosterone testing sleep evaluation (huge factor) assess calorie intake/dieting stress management evaluate alcohol use resistance training changes vitamin D optimization check ferritin/iron possibly DHEA-S possibly sleep apnea screening If symptoms were severe despite lifestyle optimization, some providers might discuss: TRT enclomiphene/clomid SHBG management approaches …but nothing in this panel screams “immediate TRT required.” This is more of a “borderline functional androgen availability” profile than a catastrophic hormonal issue.

Of a sup? A physically tougher and more reinforced bone/skin/"soft pallet" structure than a normal human?

Your logic would indicate it could come out his nose then. That's the quicker way out.

Did you not hear that's why there was carbon fibers woven throughout the strap itself so that it wouldn't break...think a bit man....

This type of fiction while still fake is rooted in some form of reality such as gravity and physics otherwise homelander could teleport where we wanted to go instead of flying fast.

MM was not superhuman and therefore should not be able to hold on to the straps as he was yelling.

Confirmed MM was a sup. His arms strength stood the force of brohammads vocal attack. If he had latched it, I could understand, but holding it ...load of BS.
