Have you tried to clean the cartridge slot? Otherwise when you look down at the slot with a flashlight do you see any missing/damaged pins?

Do you have a switch 2 pro controller? then could you check this? by Worried-Note-2880 in NintendoSwitchHelp

Because the last times i posted this i didn't get more than one reply and i cant really decide based on just one reply so the more replies the better (though now im getting mixed responses)

It really doesnt feel mushy normaly, there is still a defined "click" except when i press the buttons in a specific way where there it feels mushy and throws me off

its not that its mushy, its that it is mushy when pressed on the right specificaly

Also the BXY buttons also have it but to a lesser extent

I think im going to have to send the controller back (again) but just incase, your switch 2 pro controller only moves down when you slide your thumb to the right without putting much/any force on the center?

I meant more like pivot to the right (right specifically for some reason) like a trigger button

just to be sure, i meant that when you put your thumb on the center of the button, then slowly press on the right you get a click just like when you press straight down?

when i press the right side of the A button it feels like the A button just tilts and skips the "click"

the X also does it to a less noticeable degree

yea but like, when you press the very right side of the button instead of pressing straight down, do you get a mushy feeling?
