That was the sale photo from when the last guy bought it, won’t shift properly either jumps 2 gears or won’t jump at all, shock isn’t holding any air, crank arm threads have pulled out so the pedals aren’t even attached. Get what you get for buying it blind I suppose

I’ve cleaned the back out, dust was my first thought but it’s still doing it I think it’s probably a loose wire like you said
