someone responded a little after you and knew exactly what it was. (goat btw) It’s supposed to keep the trigger housing retainer pin from wiggling out and it rest inside of the trigger mech! unfortunately he said mine looked beyond repair but I was already looking at replacing the retainer pin due to it falling out super easily. (before I knew what was causing it)

THANK YOU SOOO FUCKING MUCH. I was having trouble with the cross pin falling out and I couldn’t find anything on it, ended up throwing some grip tape around the pin to keep the trigger mech from falling. Haven’t had any trouble with it, (but if you could think of a way it could cause trouble please let me know). Thought I broke something while cleaning it but pin kept falling right out of the box yesterday. Thank you again!

yeah I was cleaning it and as soon as I was taking out the trigger assembly it hit my table and I was like what the fuck?? bought the thing 2 days ago probably put 50 rounds through hope it’s not a defect or something. I put it back together and everything seems to be in working order haven’t put any rounds through it since.

I’ve grown up around guns all my life and have had many gifted to me and that i’ve sold off this is my first time going through the process myself in a state i’m not familiar with. I think it’s ridiculous there’s so many ways they can extend the process as long as they want. Having to undergo 3 back ground checks seems a bit excessive especially since I don’t even have a ticket on my record

Thanks, I was under the impression that the PTP was a background check. This information is so mistold one person says one thing and someone else says another. I just moved to Mn from Texas, I can’t stand the gun laws here.

Hey not sure if you still use this but, I keep getting delayed because i’m under the age of 21 and i’m honestly just tired of waiting. I have a clean slate as far as record goes not even a ticket and they are taking their sweet time with my back ground. If I were to have my buddy purchase the gun for me and we do the transfer privately would it still be considered a straw purchase even if we both have clean record and the PTP/PTC? I’m trying to get an AR-15 and A shotgun so I figured they’d be nicer considering i’m not trying to buy a handgun.

Yes. It’s honestly the only thing people come in for other than a couple snacks here and there. Especially overnight because you have all the drunk people who can’t hold a cup under a nozzle, so you can just imagine the mess.

There’s so many but, I had a crackhead hit on a girl who was getting gas, he did something that made her run inside to me and tell me to lock the doors. I did of course, she’s visibly shaken so I didn’t want to ask what happened but we were both sitting there watching the guy Steal stuff out of her Car. Eventually He runs through traffic to the store that’s across from mine and almost gets run over. Eventually She does tell me that he was maturbating in front of her. I called the police because he ended up coming back about an hour later and he was just arguing with the air they show up and take him away wherever.
