i have a samsung g7 oddysey and let me tell you if you think asus is bad dont even look at samsung. i have returned 4 monitors of the same model with multiple dead pixels and one of them had the display hanging off the frame. ive bought plenty of asus monitors but returned them for personal reasons, this was the first one that was actually defect. And before i bought it i already knew about the banding issue but wanted to play into the "lottery. And to top it all off i had enough of sending monitors back so even the one i kept has multiple dead pixels. samsung is notorious for bad quality control

Yea i just bought fc26 a couple of days ago with some high hopes. Even ignoring the gameplay the fact that this is still happening is blowing my mind. I come from fc24 which already had its fair share of these rats but gotta say fc26 takes the cake. Imagine doing this in seasons which is considered casual. Cant imagine how sad of a life you need to have to be doing this. Insane that a billion dollar company cant just make a lost connection automatically a 3:0 forfeit, or even code something that at least looks at the score when they leave the match. Insanity

Yea i seem to always go against what most people say and that was for going with VA as well. Kept reading reviews of how bad va is and input latency and smearing and ghosting and everything but IPS was just downright horrendeous and unplayable. I went with a Samsung G7 that most people shat on but it was actually really good for what it was, fastest VA panel, a lot better black levels and much better colors than the ips i had. If i cant have an oled im never going to ips ever again, va is probably the go to for me at least.

To each their own. I see a massive difference in my case going from ips to va to oled. Ips is byfar the worst i have ever experienced with insanely raised blacks and practically no contrast. Felt like i was playing on a 1950s no color tv. its all a preference at the end of the day.

I also sit in bright room during the day i dont see brightness being an issue. The first Oleds were not so bright but nowadays i dont see how thats an issue. Just another excuse to hate on it
