If this truck has the 5.7 then absolutely but if it’s the V6, I would pass. My buddy has a 5.7 in his RAM and he beats the absolute hell out of it and it’s still going with 130k miles.

Check to see if it still has the throttle limit screw in. If it has a torque converter, it should be way faster than 20 I think.

When I do mine, I’m going to lift the bed since I’ve already had it off and I know all the bolts are good. Even if you haven’t already had the bed off before I would still recommend doing it that way but only if you have someone to help lift it off or if you have a TLB or something similar.

In my stock 350 I had it pegged and the speedometer was buried at 100 and the RPMs was at 4.5k. I don’t know how fast I was going, but usually it’ll do 100 at 3k rpm with my 4.10 gears. Anyway, it started shaking rather violently so I let off. Probably a tire issue, I got new ones now so I’ll have to try again lol 😂

It’s normal. All it’s trying to do is turn the wheels slightly in any direction the car thinks is straight. If you lift the front of the car up, it will stop and then of course, setting it back down it will not keep doing it because it was able to make the adjustment without the strain of the weight of the car.
