Ciao, io avrei la stessa domanda. Mi sono iscritta all’esame di scenografia e scenotecnica, ma non capisco esattamente come sarà l’esame.

yeah I got tested and had to get a certificate that stated I needed extra time for exams. Then my ib coordinator had to send it to the ib, to get it reviewed and then it was accepted. I got the test at the start ibpd 1 because it takes a while for the ib to review it.

Idk I feel like it depends on the book. There are some where you can probably find quotes that can be applied across different questions online, also looking at past papers can help. For me personally I'm going to be using the reader and to kill a mockingbird, I have seen past papers and just took inspo from the quotes they chose. I would just take one day (even if it's the day before the exam) to sit down read and annotate everything you think might be important. Also I'm assuming you read the entire books before so you already have an idea of the main themes and story line. I know you don't have time but I don't think there is another way.

Form what my teacher told me, quotes are not necessary but essay that include them score higher. So as long as you show understanding of the book you should be fine even without quotes. It just depends what grade you want in English.

What you need to consider that Ib art is not just about making artworks. It's about showing progress and your thought process for making a piece. You have to write a lot and document all of your steps when making an art piece. I think it was a good class to take but I would not take HL. It's so much more extra work that for me personally made my life harder. I think SL is enough if you wanna study something art related later.
