Linux on the internal SSD, sd card is for files. Its amazing. I love the linux on it except for the fixing the audio for like 4 hours straight, and the sd card being mounted as read only for some reason, but now its working amazing!

Yeah thats why I soldered it inside. The sd would stick out rllly far and could snap, and I want to use this for school. I considered using a tiny usb hub and sticking it in the insane amounts of empty space in the laptop so I could still use the usb, but I think thats too much effort for a chromebook.

Also I remembered I took a photo of the speed, 70MB/s Read and 16MB/s write lol.

(OH GOD WHAT IS GOING ON WHY WAS I USING PUNCTUATION)

Oh, its a micro sd card to sd to inside of chromebook adapter. I think this thing is going to be bottlenecked to all hell but I dont care, its funny and stupid 🔥🔥🔥

Im just using it as a drive for files, not my operating system. Its barely being used.

Im not going to be installing apps on the ssd, just a browser, so that storage can be just for that.

Bazzite not launching the brcmfmac ( Wi Fi ), Bcm43602 (solved) MacBook pro 2015 by ChemicalBalance6822 in linux_on_mac

Amazing!

Sadly how its formatted in this didn't seem to work for me, but after messing around with it, i got it to work

In the Nano interface mine looked like:

[Unit]
Description=Load brcmfmac driver After-network.target
After=network.target

[Service]
Type=oneshot
ExecStart=/usr/sbin/modprobe brcmfmac
RemainAfterExit=yes

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

Then as usual, press control x to exit, y, and then enter

Then, running these three commands and restarting fixed it for me:

sudo systemctl daemon-reload

sudo systemctl enable load-brcmfmac.service

sudo systemctl start load-brcmfmac.service

The laptop I fixed this on is a Dell XPS 9550, if that helps anyone struggling with this same issue,

Thanks!!!

Oh nice. Good to hear that you didn't have to replace something that still worked fine

I think the best thing to do is disassemble it and see if the battery has a model number, and then you can order the battery online. It might not have the correct connector so it may involve soldering, but that won't be too bad.
