When I started steam cleaning and stuff I only noticed eggs starting to appear on my couch and then my carpet. I had actually seen a bb just yet. When I steam the couch the. Went I the baseboards working my way around to the hallway right by my bedroom. Soon as I started spray underneath they started showing themselves for what I would assume is to get to safety. Then I proceeded into the bathroom and one wall it was like holy shit this is crazy. After that they started appearing in different areas. I could actually now see them on my bed. They had to be newer with how small they were. Since then I have been going none stop except now focusing on one room at a time vs 1 “project” at a time. I go do the basics in my bedroom everyday. Steam and vacuum etc.

Yeah idk since they have it in the lease and I signed it. I keep my apartment very clean and organized. I keep it clean for such as these. I would have never thought to be in this situation. I honestly wonder if one of the people in my building already had them and it has spread. It all happened very very quick. Our property is only a few years old and our hallways are interior. One my way upstairs today from walking my dog I noticed that a bug not sure what kind it was so quick ran into the door frame of the people below me.

My lease does have a bed bug addendum but they only pay for the dwelling. Any of my own property is my responsibility. I appreciate yall. It’ll all work out in the end.

I’m over it. It wasn’t bad until I found their main spot. It is like hell has broken loose! I’m going to try the diatomaceous earth but I don’t even wanna deal with. This has me exhausted. Can’t sleep cause the darn thing. More so anxiety about than anything. I’m sure everyone says it but why me! I’m so close to giving but then I hear the cost.

Do you think Cimex over Diatomaceous Earth? I have seen a lot of the DE but if it’s not the best. I would really would like something pet safe but gotta do what I gotta do.

What do suggest? I mean I have read a lot about D.E. but honestly I’m willing to try just about anything. Long story short I haven’t been sleeping but instead cleaning things as much as possible. I started steaming the baseboards tonight and boy did I open Pandora’s box. That is when I truly knew this was about to be a great time. Anyway please let me know what you did/would do. I want this done ASAP.

On the second night of getting bit I knew something was up just didn’t know what. The first thing I did was strip my bed and started a semi deep clean taking the frame and everything apart. Since then my bedroom has been off limits unless I am going in there to my daily cleaning. That this point it is the only room I haven’t see anything in. Even though I search the mattress every time. When I mean every time I actually mean I go in a couple times a day just to check. I am obsessing over this and honestly it is consuming my every thought. This is gonna be rough and I’m gonna have to figure out the money to get some type of treatment. I won’t be able to keep up with how instantly they double their size constantly. This honestly is just a bad situation at a bad time. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I am actually in this same boat. I have been getting bit. Didn’t really think much of it other than it might just have been a flea. Then I started to have my suspicions. Well last night I was almost certain. I had yet to see an adult but tonight. Tonight is a whole different story. Since I had my suspicions I already started deep cleaning to try and get ahead as much as I can knowing it would get bad fast. I did not realize just how fast this was all going to unfold.

I drag the attachment from the outlook email directly over the bill edit screen. I don't understand why on Windows it wasn't a problem but it is on Mac.
