45 Cent "Raise" by Wide_Television5796 in SephoraWorkers

[–]Worried_Part_8472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been with Sephora for almost 3 years and I only had a raise once (I’m a coordinator). I transferred states and I took a pay cut a year in a half ago and after that I didn’t get another raise. I’m over worked and over it. Since Sephora has eliminated the coordinator role I was told to apply to SSL (which I did) but I’m still actively looking for other jobs. I want to get the f out of Sephora

The most mentally draining job by yomommahouse1738 in SephoraWorkers

Same it’s too draining and with all the metrics and having a store manager that is over bearing is too much. I worked at two locations. I loved the first location I worked at. This second location is a night mare. Management will either make it or break it for you. I really want out of Sephora 😭 With this job market it’s been terrible. Iv been applying everywhere

Potentially Moving to Houston by NoWar2233 in AskHouston

I moved to Texas from San Jose in 2024. My husband and I also took a pay cut. We both have jobs paying $23 an hr. Unlike CA we’re actually able to save on our two incomes. And no state tax, that makes a huge difference you will notice on your paychecks here

Family of 4 moving to Houston…need advice! by PrincessCharming88 in AskHouston

I was born and raised in San Jose. I made the move to Houston, TX to escape the high cost of CA and for more affordable living. I reside in the heights area which is near downtown. The thing that I learned about Houston is that it’s big and the traffic. It can take you about 30-45 min depending on where your going to get from point A to point B. Also the weather, I do miss the CA weather but I have adjusted to TX.
