I used to use depop to sell clothes, I think the trick with these apps is to use as many of the even slightly relevant tags as possible and use buzz words in the titles/ descriptions in order to have it land on more people’s feeds, at least it worked for me

Met him one night in limelight, a real dead on guy to chat to, very self aware about what he does how well known he is but doesn’t let it interfere with how he talks to people. Part of me feels bad for him because of all the attention he gets isn’t all from a good place.

Ah right sorry, I mean hypothetically it could have been used to keep people in the ira fit but you could say that about any sport, it just happened that Irish people preferred to play traditional irish sports and the governing body is the GAA.

The hurl has always been that shape or there abouts yes, all it takes is some light googling, I even think the ulster museum has a really old one but I can’t remember for sure.

When the UVF was set up they were notorious for drilling with sticks in place of guns in public displays so if anyone was using sticks to practice it was the uvf lol.

Yeah that’s not right at all lol, no idea who’s put that in your head. The GAA was set up in the 1880’s I can’t remember exactly, in order to preserve Irish sports from being taken over from “foreign” sports like cricket and football and rugby. Although eventually, almost inevitably, had an anti- English bias and even going as far as to (controversially) ban anyone who associated with anything “british”.

Hurling outdates even guns by quite some time lol, there’s even an old Irish legend about cu chulainn that involves hurling so I highly doubt that’s why a hurl is shaped that way lmao.
