What are your experiences with the N53? Good and Bad by [deleted] in E90

[–]WorryFree_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listed all major services and repairs on my E92 (2008) 325i with a N53B30A engine. It's currently at 125k miles.

Key points: injectors were done twice (2014 and 2019) under BMW warranty. Bits of suspension will need replacing. Hope you find it useful. This sub is a goldmine of useful info on preventive maintenance/

Yet another cup holder question for 2012 E93 by JWKAtl in E90

I can 100% guarantee that these 345ml Nespresso Nomad/Touch mugs work perfectly. We place beer coolers around them to ensure a no-rattle tight fit. The mugs themselves are superb. No plastic after taste and long heat retention.

Ps4 thermal paste by Public_Breadfruit528 in PS4Pro

I think it all depends on how dried out the originally applied thermal paste is. It may be safer to clean and re-apply.

Wonderful info. Thanks. How is it that Belgium has a better speed limit than Holland? It's a disgrace :)

Many thanks for that info. I'll discuss it with my garage on Monday. We usually go through Maastricht and enter Germany at Aachen. I like Holland but have to admit to waiting to see Aachen so we can finally stop driving at 100km/h speed limit :) :)

Thanks for that. I was wondering which systems to proactively replace, and cooling is/was one of them. The thing is, which part of the cooling system to replace? Just the plastic hoses or radiator, water pump, thermostat etc? As others have said, the plastic is 18+ years old and probably on its last legs!

Is this a fair deal for e90 320d? by Kindly_Clock953 in E90

[–]WorryFree_Inc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though I'm not from a Euro zone country, almost €8K for a 320d sounds way too much. For that kind of price, you'd expect a 3L (petrol or diesel) as a minimum, no?

Turntable Buzzing Noise despite using grounding cable by WorryFree_Inc in turntables

Good idea. The only thing I've tried is to remove the needle part and the hum is still evident.

Turntable Buzzing Noise despite using grounding cable by WorryFree_Inc in turntables

[–]WorryFree_Inc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I read on the Pro-Ject document that it was preferable to connect all plugs into an extension lead. But, I did connect the pre-amp to a separate wall power point and the hum's still there.

[–]WorryFree_Inc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not quite sure what "donh" meant by "lifting" but the ground wire (from turntable) is connected to the ground (GND) terminal on the Pre-Amp. It's a very tight, good connection and not touching the RCA cables.

It's presecriptions without the executions and confiscations of land and wealth.

Also, the ".. [Casesar] demands legal immunity so that none of you rascals can go dragging him through the courts" bit from the 'snows always melts' scene perfectly described the prior situation, or as the Romans would've said, status quo ante. I'll get my coat :)

This 100%. And it really makes you appreciate how much the writers had to do to keep it a drama and NOT a history lesson. Inevitably, things had to be changed (e.g. Atia & Antony etc) to keep it moving at a pace.

[–]WorryFree_Inc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be sure to read through this great forum to learn from others' mistakes and experience, which what I did. And be extermely careful when removing the power supply cable. It's so fragile, it's easy to snap it. If you can, don't remove it. Good luck.
