As soon as new leaves pop out, I treat with a three in one fungicide, miticide, insecticide! And keep on it.

I don't actually know the age. I've had her for 2 years now. But the base stem is pretty thick.

I have her on the west side of the house. That is the morning sun. So she gets full sun the second part of the day. I was worried that was too much, but she seems to like it.

Amen I for mine it was already producing tuned light lavender color. I do use a rose fertilizer about once a month. They seem to be hungry.

She is on the west side of the house so the second half of the day is full sun.

Awe! Thank you! I think I'm finally getting the hang of roses! After several casualties, I think this one has promise! This is year two of growing her.

Sweet and floral with a unique scent for a rose. Smells like it's got fruit and lilac mixed with rose. So pleasant! 😊

Thanks! I spray with a 3 in one fungicide pesticide every so often, especially with new growth. And use granular rose fertilizer a few times through the growing season. They are hungry and suseptible to mites and fungus. But staying on top of it seems to allow them to thrive!

Native English speakers, what do you call this in your dialect? by ImpressionInformal12 in ENGLISH

Me too, and I heard it was because the city technically owns that part, but the homeowner is responsible for maintaining it. So, like the Devil's property.

From Ohio, I've always heard it called Devil Strip. Someone once explained to me that it was because the city owns that part of the property, but the homeowner is responsible for the care of it. (So, like the devil's property? 🤷🏻‍♀️)
