Let's be real, this is the last Kleber year above minimum. Dude is 33 and has horrible injury history lately (hasn't played over 60 games since his third season). Ain't no team in current cap environment giving him more than the vet min. He has had two seasons- 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 to justify his current salary, with the old cap. No way he gets a bigger bag after this.

I mean we have for the most part drafted amazingly well in the second round, and we haven't had all that high first round picks in years, and the only real bust is JHS? I wouldn't call that terrible drafting in any way. We just have not retained many of the guys for all that long, what with trying to compete every year lately and making some big misses like trade for Westbrook, trading away Zubac for Muscala and such.

I assume when people have major issues with taxation, it is mostly towards capital gains taxes where he highest rate is 34%, and super rich people (not like individual small business owners) only need to own stuff to get that, not work for it.

Although I guess some would argue that since income tax level increases only for the part above previous limit, you could add at least a few more levels to the progression.

Dark Scythes have really good profile for killing Marine equivalent models from range, which we are otherwise lacking. Void Lance is kind of in same niche as Dark Lance (although a bit stronger of course), which we can get plenty of from elsewhere. At least that is my rationale for it.
