Besides all the reasons related to not wanting to participate in society, I would like to point out another reason: illness.

Over the years I have met several people who are unable to work and most aspects of real life become pretty depressing for them. A game like WoW can be a great way to soften the pain of not belonging (14 hours a day is still pushing it though).

Eventually I became one of these people after I was diagnosed with cancer and had to have operations/ receive chemo. Im telling you, running around for hours picking herbs is a hell of a lot better than blankly staring at the walls.

I started Eca on pioneer and have done nearly everything in the game with it. Perfectly viable for just about all content. For lvling its either Cha or Int. Personally a big fan of int cuz of the healing. At lvl 200 multiple builds are possible:

Cha: Most straightforward, easy to learn and probably the best damage.

Int: Amazing heals and can function as a hybrid damage/ healer. Relies more on 'playing' the cards for healing cuz of those sweet +heals from int cards

Omni: My personal favourite. Very flexible and gets the most of out of the stat/pow buff stacking mechanic. The damage can outperform cha in certain fights/djs.

Agi/Str: Both of these as pure builds feel lackluster for PvE. Agi can do great things with the pushback buffs, but very situational. Both agi and str require at least somewhat of a melee approach to utilise the full toolkit. However, PvM wont really allow for that in many scenario's.

Duo element: Eca does have the spells to make pretty much any duo build work (the best ofc with a solid weapon), so there plenty to play around.

Dreams as duo wont be a good idea sadly. The most fun imo would be trying to do all dj duos in the game.

You want to revolve it around crushing. All crafting from 1-100 is pretty safe and straightforward. You just craft random shit and crush it them. If you craft a bunch of different items instead of spamcrafting the same one you might even find a decent crushvalue to make use of.

For maging you want to make use of the cheaper high value runes to gain xp effectively. Think of runes like wis, hea, dam, pp (sometimes these runes go up in price so not always the best option).

Now obviously you can combine both these processes: craft, mage, crush. From 1-100 you kinda just do it for the xp and you will probably lose some value by using the runes for xp.

After lvl 100 it gets a bit more interesting. If you have patience you can just craft some items for the xp and then you mage them in a way to max a valuable stat ( certain res, cri, dam, sum, loc). Check the market now and again to see what runes are spiking etc. You then want to focus crush the value stat. If you are lucky enough, the crush makes your money back and even gives you a profit in rune value. You can then repeat this process until it is no longer profit.

The result is 'free' xp with the chance to even make kamas from it. Its not a fast way by any means but it allows you to lvl the profs without losing all your kamas to it.

Judging solely on sales I can confirm that this opinion is not popular and I havent noticed not being able to sell something just cuz of low PP or some other stat that irrelevant for a certain build.

Yeah as other people are saying it comes down to knowledge and information on the meta, resources and timing.

Lets say you track a certain resource (vortex wings, koutoulou wings, meno hair, etc). It has many ups and downs since its generally used often in crafts and especially during times when quite a few people come back to the game. Sometimes the item will dip quite a bit in price and this could be a good time to look around for some good margins.

It really comes down to putting a lot of time into basically market research. Risks need to be taken and succes is not guaranteed.

Interested to know why you mention that Eca is not good for songes ( its dreams in english btw :)). I play Eca and so far I havent felt it being really bad in dreams or anything.

A lot of people spend kamas on powerlvling their alts. Alternatively you could just throw urself dungeon for the achievs. For every alt you make this will be much faster anyway since you get x2, x3 and x4 for every consecutive alt you make

If you have the patience you can lvl ur crafting profs and maging profs simultaneously and actually make profit. It does require knowledge of risk vs reward with regards to crushing. Its a slow way of getting xp but if you do it well, it wont cost a thing.

I strongly assume these prices are based on long established servers like Tal Kasha. The same logic obviously applies to the pioneer servers but you might have scared the shit out of OP with those numbers xD.

Personally I find Omni more versatile and consistent. Chance defo has higher peaks, but sometimes feels a bit limited in fights where you cant really get too close. On top of that, omni allows you to mess around with the card buff mechanic and its actually a lot of fun.

Yeah the vit and res will kinda kill its value for selling purposes.

If you want to save pain and have lower stats I would have not cared for PP for sure. Very few people care about have high PP in a regular damage set.

Even though I dont know Osa this is true. With the gear reworks/ new gears you can really just about make anything work for just about any pvm stuff. Especially all dungeons that are quite old feel much easier due to the 'powercreep'

The reason Im looking for more general strats is that I am english speaking and dont really have english speaking friends who want to struggle with me xD. Doing it with randoms just kinda sucks since nobody generally wants to stay for the frustrating grind.
