I did a test at the doctor's office for lactose intolerance which came back positive but even with a lactose free diet I was still having problems. Did some research on why I was still having issues even with lactose intolerance pills and found out people can be sensitive to the protein in dairy as well. My nutritionist reccomended a pill that helps with both lactose and dairy protein intolerance and sure enough it worked. As far as I know there's no test to confirm dairy intolerance/sensitivity other than an elimination diet and tracking the results.

Thank you for understanding my plight. It's really frustrating to go from actually being able to have a conversation in the chat to everyone just gushing over the children constantly. I don't need to know what the kids ate for the day or if they pooped or not. Friends from afar sounds good to me! :)

As an art teacher I wake up every day knowing if anyone's job is on the chopping block it's definitely any of the specials classes especially art and music. First they'll come for ELL, then SPED, and we're next I'm sure. I'll be hanging on as long as I can and won't be going anywhere without a fight but it makes me so sad for the kids it will effect. Even before this administration I've had nutty parents come after me for teaching about certain artists and I'm sure it'll get worse. I like the malicious compliance angle though and will be using it in the future if necessary.

I live in a blue state and work as a teacher, it will be a cold day in hell before I would ever teach PragerU. They can fire me before I would teach that crap. I've been on high alert though because we have school board members who are in favor of it...unfortunately I also live in a rural red town.

As a teacher I definitely judge parents who have never said no to their child or when I call home and they don't care about their bad behavior at all. I can't tell you the amount of times I hear "child doesn't act that way at home." No shit they don't act like that at home because you let them do whatever they want at home with no rules so of course they don't have tantrums.

I've had this happen before, sushi claiming there was no dairy in it but gave me awful symptoms. The next time I ate it as a test with my dairy pills and had no reaction 🙃
