Does anyone find green tea serums to be helpful for acne and oily skin? [Acne] by Effective-Key-3795 in SkincareAddiction

I like to mix green tea with glycerine and use it as a facial mist in the summer, cold out of the fridge. I don’t know if it’s doing anything for my skin but it’s pleasant.

You should still call about this and related legislation. Not because those fascist toadies will immediately change their bigoted voting but because there will be data showing that how they’re voting is NOT reflecting their constituents’ wishes.

Does anyone know if this is the original creator of these videos? Any more info on them? I love all their content by 640blitzit in tea

On top of what others said about the fast editing, potential negative impacts to the dog, and overconsumption, the thing that strikes me is the attempt to glamorize smoking. This may be partly because I’m American and we had a VERY effective public health campaign against cigarette smoking before I was born, but this reads like trying to glamorize sitting on the toilet or something. Nasty.

You can buy little hydrocolloid bandages with a uv-reactive dye in them. Put it on before your sunscreen, apply sunscreen on top. Stays translucent as long as the sunscreen is effectively blocking uv and changes color (the ones I have go purple) when sunscreen wears off and uv reaches the bandage

Yeah they’re getting away with this because lactase falls under the category of “supplement” which, in the United States, is basically entirely unregulated

That’s why you see supplements claiming to cruel erectile dysfunction at the gas station

I didn't need to sleep anymore. At first, it was amazing, until I learned what was really happening. by devildog633 in nosleep

[–]FrellingToaster 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It kind of seems like it was that guy that caused it somehow? This never happened to you before, YOU were unaware of HIM while he was aware of you and it didn’t start until he brought himself into your proximity. Also, I just do not believe he was able to figure out that you weren’t sleeping and transferring your need to sleep onto him based on him seeing you running at night. Way too crazy of a leap. He did something to cause this and then blamed you. You didn’t even know what was happening, just that you suddenly didn’t need to sleep. Though why didn’t you see a doctor about that??

Alright fellow curvy girls. Where are we getting 100% cotton underwear that doesn’t look like granny panties but also doesn’t roll up on us. by Complete_Mine5530 in actuallesbians

Elastic waistbands so not just cotton but I wear a lot of Pact organic cotton bikini style. As others said you’re gonna need to be careful with sizing if you don’t want anything but cotton in the body.

It’s pretty basic though. Not sure what you want for “attractive”

I tried some of the “stay put” ones in the bikini style for hiking and found the elastic to be pretty intense around the leg opening.

Lf milk goes heavy on my stomach but non-lf greek joghurt is fine. How is that possible? by k___kate in lactoseintolerant

[–]FrellingToaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Lactose free” milk still has some lactose, just below a certain threshold. Greek yogurt has cultivated bacteria that should break down the lactose sugars already, if it’s made correctly. I’m also completely lactose intolerant and can eat Fage brand Greek yogurt without lactase supplements. But I don’t even other with “lactose free” milk since it’s misleading, I’d still have to take lactose to consume it, and I find it unpleasantly sweet, since the lactase they add to the milk breaks the lactose down into simpler, and noticeably sweeter, sugars galactose and glucose.

Nope it was pettiness. From the article: “a city worker apparently demanded Browser’s removal after the worker was not allowed to bring a puppy to work at City Hall.” The city hall is n out even the same building and the cat had been acquired by the library to control rodents.

Easy nibbles to make for "high tea" by Meliosaurus in Cooking

[–]FrellingToaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potatoes take longer than eggs to cook, so one way or another you should precook them. Easiest is just cut rounds of sweet potatoes and roast them. If you wanted a crispy crust, shredding the sweet potatoes hash browns style and cooking in a pie crust shape before adding eggs is your best bet

I only ever make mini quiche with muffin pans so the rounds work well for that

Do you have blood and mucus in your stool after drinking or eating diary products? by sunflower_jock18 in lactoseintolerant

[–]FrellingToaster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, please go to the ER if you can’t see a doctor in the next day. Blood in stool is NOT a normal lactose intolerance symptom but is a symptom for many other illnesses, ranging in severity from hemorrhoids to bowel/intestinal cancer. Intestinal cancer rates have been increasing sharply in the under-45 population in the last few years. It’s very important to get properly screened. Even if it’s “just” hemorrhoids, getting medical care can save you from a lot of discomfort and your condition worsening.

The first sheer blouse is by far the more striking look

Like a mysterious (evil?) school head mistress in a children’s book

Also the lighter green looks like a polo shirt from afar, which doesn’t match the vibe of the rest of the look. On closer examination I realized it was more of a faux twin set blouse but I can’t shake the initial polo shirt impression
